Amazing pub set in a quiet location. The pub is pet friendly. I like how they have split the pub between 2 different sides, the dine side and social side which has 4..... Yes 4 dart boards with a pool table. The bar and food service was brilliant. Highly recommend to all visitors. I would like to say a massive thank to Josh who looked after us and his little side kick James. Also if you catch it when the weather is good, it has a lovely beer garden. Best to book up on the website for a table as It can get busy. Complimentary to the chef who I never got to meet. Keep up the good work. See you all again soon

We enjoyed an excellent meal! Superbly cooked and well presented food. Great service, not overly expensive compared to other eateries offering inferior food for similar prices. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly be going back when we next visit Grasmere.

This is a lovely quirky restaurant. The food was excellent, the ostrich fillet was a great success whilst my hot and sour chicken was beautiful. The service was great and there was a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend

The Pheasant is one of our go to places in Keswick, always good food, nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Will certainly be visiting again on our next trip.

Visited Penrith and was recommended this restaurant. It didn’t disappointment it was the best meal we had all trip. The venue was lovely, food amazing and service absolutely top class. There was a few little things that people would complain about but it was the way these were dealt with by an amazing team.

Daughter came ithwr her friends table of 6. I dropped a cake off. They all had a great time food was amazing and the waitress was lovely and kind to them and helped them split the bill and sang happy birthday to her. Thanks you

Great traditional pub, I had pie and mash and it was the best comfort food I've had in a long time! Great service also, this is our second visit to Keswick and to the Pheasant and will hopefully return again.

Without doubt a highlight of our stay in the lakes. Great food, for once I would have been happy to have chosen any of the dishes on the menu. It was so appetising. Very well prepared and flavourful obviously by a talented chef. Excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Visited on Thursday 26th June for dinner, Had a fab meal , the staff were very attentive and Libby was exceptional. Highly recommend a visit to this Bistro.

Booked a table for lunch before the races and was delighted by the friendly service and lovely choice of food. All four of us were very happy with our meals and intend to return. Definitely compliments to the chef.

Whenever we visit Keswick (very often) we always spend an evening at The Pheasant Inn. We're nearly through the menu (fish pie, lamb shoulder, steak/chicken pie, beef bougihon etc), all delicious & us geordies very happy with portion size. Lake district staple.
