We had an excellent meal and the staff were efficient & friendly. We’d definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal at Lewis's Bistro so much so that we booked again for the next night and were not disappointed. The first night I had steak and my wife had the salmon and the second night we both had the lamb, we could not fault any of them they were excellent. The desserts did not disappoint either the sticky toffee pudding and the Eccles cake were absolutely delicious. We shall not hesitate to return here next time we are in Grasmere. Thank you all.

Great pub. Food and drinks great quality and value, staff are very polite and professional and it’s dog friendly. Our only complaint is the payment is card only. Cash is King !

Gorgeous food … only think I could fault was you were fully booked & the poor bar lad was on his own but other than that couldn’t fault it at all

We visited the Pheasant Inn for Sunday lunch and couldn’t fault it it was lovely, we both had the pork it was so tender there was a good choice of vegetables and a giant Yorkshire pudding , the staff are really friendly /polite and very professional, we definitely would recommend the pheasant inn and we will definitely visit again.

Excellent meal, served by a friendly bunch of staff. Spiced parsnips followed by seared pheasant breast, with two pints of Pheasant ale. A lot of pheasant in the Pheasant Inn, showing a lack of imagination on my part, but all very pleasant. Plenty of other options in Keswick but I would go back here

Excellent food as always. Lovely ambience this is a popular restaurant so booking ahead is wise especially at peak times. Never disappoints- one of the best places to eat in Keswick

Looking for somewhere to eat In Grasmere I chose Lewis Bistro simply from looking online. We were not disappointed. Good atmosphere, very friendly staff and , most importantly, excellent food. Would definitely return if we find ourselves in Grasmere.

Came here several times when we visited Keswick 2 years ago and so we booked a table as soon as we booked this trip. 2 different sittings, early and late. Early seems to get booked up quite quickly especially at the weekend. Online booking available. Lovely food as always. Good choice of food and several options for vegetarians. Good size portions. Especially the Lamb Henry! Good atmosphere in the pub. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. I would recommend that you find this pub and book a table.

The Sage & Vine is without a doubt my favourite place to eat in Carlisle, I have enjoyed every thing I have eaten there & loved the wine to go with the fantastic food. The staff especially front of house is so nice & friendly I recommend it to everyone who has a mind to listen!!!!

Two years since our last visit, still amazing food, great service and excellent value.

Good meal overall. Much improved on last year when the good was poor but not yet reclaimed the standards of previous years.
