Lovely afternoon, good food and service

On Thursday 11th December we visited the Cafe for Christmas lunch. There was Christmas Carol music playing in the background, beautiful decorations and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the Christmas turkey meal, had a glass of Rose wine and coffee at the end. The staff were attentive making sure that we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend visiting the Renishaw Cafe and not just at Christmas. We have just booked again to go on Sunday 14th December taking our 95 year old Aunt as she loves going to Renishaw for a meal.

We visited the hall and then enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch in the cafe. The food was excellent - as was the service. A great start to the Festive season.

We had a wonderful Christmas family get-together. Food was excellent and can't thank the staff enough for making our event so special ! Ps - we had the Christmas lunch but the afternoon teas looked amazing !

What a fantastic evening at Baileys for our Christmas night out. Brilliant organisation in advance . Fantastic service on the night along with delicious food cooked to perfection. To top it off a brilliant band, Sonic Duo playing downstairs , the BEST atmosphere , danced the rest of the night. Awesome ! thankyou to all the staff and the brilliant band for making our night out one of the best.

On Sunday 7th December we visited Renishaw Hall for a tour of the house followed by festive afternoon tea in the Rex Whistler suite. This was the second time we've had afternoon tea at Renishaw this year and once again we weren't disappointed. Our granddaughter and her partner are visiting us from Australia and this was part of their joint 21st birthday celebrations. The manager and all the staff in the café made our afternoon so special, from the lovely warm welcome, the exceptional service and attention to detail, not to mention the amazing food by Michelle and all the kitchen staff and all in beautiful surroundings. We won't hesitate to recommend Renishaw Hall to everyone we know as it's an experience not to be missed and we'll definitely be back again soon. Thank you all for another memorable day.

Excellent meal and service for our family pre Christmas get together. Pub has a great atmosphere

Relaxing cosy vibe and excellent food. Catered for vegetarians which was a refreshing change and a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant area had plenty of space between tables which makes for a more relaxed experience while eating. Would highly recommended.

Beautiful setting and the food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and well presented. The only drawback was the service, which felt rushed and didn’t allow enough time to enjoy the meal. Overall, a great spot, but after looking forward to a relaxing meal we left a little disappointed.

We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner on Sunday, the food was outstanding and service amazing. The staff were very friendly and we had a fabulous time, I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Visited the cafe at Renishall hall and gardens yesterday. Lovely food , wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Will be back in Spring when you open up again

Visited yesterday with family, 8 people who really enjoyed the fantastic food, absolutely brilliant, attentive service and a great drinks selection. We were looked after from the minute we walked through the door. Great venue!!

Dined here and order the roast beef for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely delicious ,pound for pound the best Sunday lunch in Buxton by a country mile. From the quality of the food, to the way it is served on a wooden block was absolutely top notch. Excellent, professional staff who epitomised the high standards in every area at the restaurant. Best pub in Derbyshire. All home cooked tasty meals in a superb setting. It was like stepping back 200 years. Decor was epic! The warm cosy fires and the friendly staff made it the perfect day out. Highly recommend.

Visited with my elderly mum in a wheelchair and had a lovely Christmas lunch . The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble . A really nice afternoon with a relaxed atmosphere . Will come again soon and recommend it to anyone. Many thanks again
