Shaheens Indian – DurhamWonderful meal again at Shaheens. Fantastic service and great food mean we visit each time we are in Durham. Family run for over 30 years. It is my most favourite meal.
Shaheens Indian – DurhamMe and my husband had our Sunday lunch and it was perfect like always. Food staff atmosphere and price was all spot on. Highly recommend it
Gilroy’s Restaurant at The Morritt – Barnard CastleApproximately 12 of us been here for umpteen years for The Christmas Lunch always been wonderful. Disappointed this year , not up to the usual standard, food was rather bland and whole meal you just felt the attention to detail was lacking.
Gilroy’s Restaurant at The Morritt – Barnard CastleBooked for me and my son to celebrate his 21st whilst I was visiting him at uni for the day. On booking it asked if any celebration so said 21st. Made no difference! Not that my son was fussed!! Sadly no none alcoholic cider for him so J20 for us both. I was brought wrong flavour, pointed it out and was offered opportunity to change it. We ordered but service felt very slow. Infact I had to ask someone to clear our main dishes so we could order desserts! We both enjoyed carbonara & gelato. Excellent price, esp the happy hour menu.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamFabulous food and service as I have come to expect. Both kids and adults enjoyed the visit. Thank you
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamLovely meal as always. Highly recommended. We will be back
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamAmazing food, however, service was very slow.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamNever had a bad meal here, sunday lunch is amazing
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamWe've just moved local to Italian Farmhouse, Can't understand why we did'nt travel to it before!!! becoming regulars The food is excellent italian (you might want a few more pepperoni on your Pizza) and the service is great! Look out for the pepper sauce if you take it on pizza -WOW!! Local american style brewed beers if you want, but the Carlsberg is excellent. V popular place, can get a little noisy (if you are looking for a romantic meal)
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamYet another great meal and experience at the Italian Farmhouse. Excellent food and service on a lovely setting. Can't wait to do it again.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamAbsolutely fabulous family dining experience at the Italian Farmhouse. Friendly, fast service - including bringing the little one’s dinner as soon as it was ready. Delicious food at a great price. Can’t beat it. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamQuiet surroundings with plenty of character. Food excellent with friendly service, what more could you ask.
Gilroy’s Restaurant at The Morritt – Barnard CastleFirst time visitor and praise enough. Friendly staff great atmosphere and superb food, Reasonably priced too. Can’t wait to return.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamBooked a table for 4 on saturday night, all enjoyed a variety and very well prepared italian menu Gamberoni was excellent very very busy so service was necessary slower Excellent pint of Guiness back wednesday night for more!!
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamAfternoon tea was very nice, food was good and service good. Could have been a little more food for my liking. If you are a big eater you’d be left a bit hungry. We were alone in the restaurant so it lacked atmosphere and overall I was disappointed I chose here for using my voucher. When I used the ladies before leaving, as soon as I walked in, it absolutely stank of urine. Reminded me of a bad public toilet. So I won’t be returning.
Gilroy’s Restaurant at The Morritt – Barnard CastleI enjoyed Sunday lunch with friends recently which was very good value for money. The staff were attentive and efficient, and the venue is welcoming.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamThis was our first time visit. WOW... firstly the friendliness of your staff, was spot on, helpful and caring, the food was out of this world. There were 4 of us and we all were extremely happy with the quality and taste of each one of our dishes. We enjoyed the offer on the Gins too. So we will definitely be returning, in fact we've already booked again. Thank you for an outstanding meal.
