This was my first meal out since lockdown however I did have a take away during lockdown which was lush. The staff were absolutely lovely & so was the food. Will definitely be back.

Our first visit. lovely decor. Service, and food were excellent. Staff very attentive. Ambience was good but quiet. The atmosphere will no doubt improve as more people venture out.

First visit to the restaurant as Antico and it did not disappoint! Loved it, great food & service. Would highly recommend

First meal out since lockdown restrictions started to ease. We enjoyed the meal and the experience so much, we will definitely go back. We were made to feel very welcome, social distancing and covid-19 prevention measures were in place so we felt quite safe. The food was excellent, we were there early so chose from the Early Bird menu, the choice and quality of the food was some of the best I've seen for an early bird offering. We had a longer wait for our main course to arrive but the staff were juggling quite a lot and we weren't in a hurry. Thank you Antico, we will book again.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner in this refurbished restaurant which has been much improved by the makeover. The manager and staff were helpful and friendly, providing a great service too. The meal was delicious, the wine and other drinks complemented the food. A very enjoyable evening, which we hope to repeat in the not too distant future.

Our first venture out since lockdown, Antico made us feel welcome and as safe as possible. There was a warm and friendly welcome and a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The menu was tempting and we both had plenty that appealed from which to choose. The food was well presented and great quality. The service was a little slow, but all the staff were pleasant and keen to be of help. We were checked on regularly to make sure everything was ok. We had a great evening and will definitely return. Thank you!

Lovely old 15th century coaching Inn right on the river Tees I think. Great value room with quality breakfast.

Had the mushroom and spinach pasta dish off the lunchtime happy hour. Only £5.95. great value and very tasty!

I've been going to the Easten Bamboo since it opened the food is absolutely delicious Sally and Raymond are such lovely people so caring I would have no hesitation in recommending this restuarant the food and staff are second to none

Recommended to us and I am so pleased it was. We have been twice in the last fortnight,once as a couple to try it and once as a party of 15 for a birthday. Both times were superb. The scotch egg and camambert are delicious as is the fillet staek and linguine and so reasonably priced. The staff took my little boy to the toy box and kept chatting to him the whole time. The whole atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed even though it was busy. Great service,great food and definitely one to go to.

Dreadful experience . Party of 10 booked in for 7.30pm Food finally arrived at 9.15 . Staff indifferent and unapologetic . Won't be going back

Visited the Wheatsheaf for a birthday meal... to be told you only do Toasties, wasnt very happy as the Wheatsheaf was recommended
