The tagine was excellent- the meat melt in the mouth tender and the flavour outstanding. Well done chef and please have on the menu again.

It is just amazing here. The fish goujon sandwich and the smoked salmon sandwich are the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Lovely cosy place and friendly service.

Discovered your wonderful barn yesterday. Wow, how beautiful. Came again today to get our lovely Christmas tree and a few other items. Of course on both days I visited the cafe. Just fabulous, lunch yesterday and breakfast today. You will be seeing a lot more of us. Thankyou.

The good was great and we enjoyed it

We were a party of 3 adults and my 10month old grandson. The service was good and the food was of the usual high standard.

Although we was a bit late for our booked table we still managed to get a table for a decent amount of time. waiting to get a drink was time consuming and not a lot of choice. the food was mostly warm at best and a lot of dishes didn’t have much taste, few chicken wings wasn’t cooked enough either. won’t be returning

Dined in a party of 8 - from start to finish an outstanding experience. Warm welcome with a prompt serving of pre dinner drinks. Chris was his normal helpful and professional self guiding us through the menu and wine selection. The food was delicious and the service attentive. The menu had excellent choices and was balanced. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the evening which was reasonably priced.

We've dined here twice recently, we booked for the Peter Watts wine tasting event having previously had a delicious dinner only a few weeks prior with friends We had a wonderful evening. The food and wines were amazing, James from Peter Watts Wines was exceptionally knowledgeable The staff did a super job. Excellent value, we'll be returning again soon.

Went to the blue anchor with friends for lunch. We have been before, the staff are friendly and polite attentive not intrusive. The food is delicious good menu will be going back in December. They are slightly pricey but it’s worth it for what you get even the decor and ambience are lovely. If you haven’t tried give it a go.

Attended the Peter Watts wine tasting event, matching wine with food. Excellent evening, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great value. Super menu and interesting wines. We enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to the next one.

It was our first time and we loved it! It was my daughter’s birthday and she really wanted to go to Spoon. It was great experience!

We sat in the seating area near the shop floor out of choice because of the background noise in the cafe side ( we are hard of hearing! ) it was really cold though even though the overhead heating was on, our legs were frozen , rugs would have helped. The chairs weren’t very comfy either I am afraid The food was very nice we had quiche , pricey for the portion though .

I love coming here and really look forward to the food. This time I ordered the open club sandwich and I was a little bit disappointed as it looked good and wA fresh and tasty but was a bit small I felt! I was still hungry afterwards which was a shame. My friend had the quiche which seemed much better value for money,

We always have a lovely meal at The Barn and the service is excellent, with friendly helpful staff...but like a previous customer has said, the chewy inedible Kale ruins the Buddha Bowl, however the beetroot and fennel seeds were delicious. Please leave out the Kale and perhaps replace with Hummus?
