Lovely lunch yesterday to cheer a friend up. Food served quickly and was delicious, thoroughly recommend.

We are 3 friends who often enjoy going to The Barn for a catch-up. Scrambled eggs on gf toast and toasted teacakes are our choices, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Had Sunday lunch with my daughter as a well earned girly treat. Beautiful meal. Very tasty. Vegetables were lovely - not over cooked. Great place for just a coffee or family get together.

My sister and I visited The Ship for a roast dinner. We love an old fashioned pub. I had not eaten at The Ship before. I would certainly eat there again. We had an excellent experience. From the time we arrived we received really good service. It is very rare nowadays to get excellent service. All the staff were attentive and polite. The roast dinner was excellent. The portion was good. It was hot and really tasty. Keep up the great service. Thank you.

Lovely place to eat and usually a great choice of food. I went there Sunday with my friend and the menu was extremely limited. I won’t go again on a Sunday for this reason. Food was ok but the ‘vegan roast dinner’ consisted of just potatoes and vegetables- no protein on the plate. Disappointing but I will just stick to weekday visits now.

Not impressed at all. The place was crazy busy, so many screaming kids. Table not ready. Made to feel rushed when we did sit down. Too top things off the food was rubbish, the Brockley & potatoes were hard! Not going back.

My husband and I had a delicious Sunday lunch here yesterday My roast chicken was tender and the vegetables delicious My husband’s fish and chips was crisp and very tasty I just felt the staff were under a lot of pressure as it was so busy It is very noisy in the cafe but I guess that’s because it was so busy

Perfect little local snug spot, yummy vegan food, fab service and lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely family meal - very quiet in the pub for a Friday evening but the food was great, service was great and it was actually nice being in a quiet atmosphere! Definitely recommend this pub and we will visit again!

Came for my daughters 16th bday she loves grumpys, they went above and beyond for her and made it very special!!

Food was generally warm enough. Plenty of choice for meat eaters but not enough for vegetarians and vegans especially. The couple of items that were vegan kept running out as they obviously were popular amongst everyone. Allergy signs on the foods were a bit faded. I would have preferred a quiet corner or find a less crowded/popular time. Ladies toilets need an upgrade and a better cleaning service. Can’t speak for the gents. Overall an okay experience.

What a lovely place to visit very relaxed atmosphere

Yet again, having visited the Barn Cafe with family our meals that we all had chosen were perfect . I have been a regular visitor for the past many years - starting when we were all situated in the ‘large poly tunnels’ . The Barn has gone from strength to strength over the decades and have never had a bad breakfast or lunch. Staff are always so pleasant and helpful and look forward to many more visits for breakfast or lunch .

We tend to go to The Barn in a big group including children The menu is varied so there is always something for everyone and the staff are always patient and accommodating

We recently started coming to “The Ship all bar are so nice and friendly. My husband not too good and they always make sure we are well looked after. Food is great too highly recommended. Cosy atmosphere. We keep coming back.

Lovely food and garden centre is so clean! Decorations for Christmas are lovely. The Sunday menu however is SO disappointing, unless you want a Sunday roast there is barely anything to choose from! Such a shame

Unfortunately for the first time yesterday the coffee cup was only 2/3rds full and lukewarm warm. Let’s hope that was a one off!! Prices have risen too - especially the cakes.
