Had great meal, such a large portion which was delicious. Mussels with bread. Carbonara was very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe took two friends for Sunday lunch this was a first visit and very impressed. Super lunch very good staff we will be back. Regards Mike Dorsett
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonGreat traditional pub lovely staff tasty beer and a good selection. Food is wonderful at affordable prices. Great atmosphere please don’t change anything.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonExcellent service and food.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonYummy food as always, great service.
The Half Moon – PetersfieldService was slow. Even though staff asked if we were attending the show and we said yes. Still waited 45 mins for our food. I had ordered chicken as an extra with my carbonara. There was no chicken in my meal when it arrived and the garlic bread was hard. When handed the dessert menu 20mins passed before waitress came back to take order. By that time it was too late as we had to leave for show.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonGreat proper pub, serving proper pub grub by a great team in a great location
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonDespite the pub hosting a baby shower and 90th birthday party simultaneously, my party of 3 were made to feel very welcome and the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent
The Half Moon – PetersfieldFood OK ish...Had to sit in a cold tent adjoining the pub for a late evening meal..tent was not heated ( it is Autumn) and we paid just under £45 for 2 cod and chips, a glass of Chardonnay and a pint of lager.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonFor as long as we, my team have been doing the Southampton Boat Show we have been to the Platform Tavern and have nothing to complain about. Try it
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonWe ate here as we were going to watch the lion king and we wanted somewhere near. I’m glad we did, the food was lovely, I had fish and chips, my daughter had salmon pasta and the kids had pizza and Mac and cheese. Everyone loved the food and the kids actually ate all theirs which is a first. Nice size portions cooked too order and very tasty. Staff were lovely, it was busy and there was a bit of a wait but they worked really hard to make sure people got their meals before the show started. Good work girls. Would definitely eat here again.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonHave a lovely lunch at The Quarter Lounge, it was tasty, plenty and served hot. The staff were friendly and polite, Initially the waiting staff were efficient but as time went on they became slow. It took almost 20 minutes to clear our table after the mains. We had a show to go to, so we decided not to have a dessert. We waited around 5 minutes to see someone to ask for the bill. After receiving the bill no one came to take our money, so we went to the bar and paid the waitress in cash who seem confused as to why we were paying her. Would we visit here again, yes as the food was very good
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonNice place. Quick service which was handy as going to see a show. Reasonable prices (mains only) Food was presented nicely but there was so much salt in the food that both our meals were impossible to finish. Not sure we would go back
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonMy partner and I visited for a meal before a trip to the Mayflower Theatre. Absolutely fantastic meals! Honestly, I have been dreaming about it since we went! The staff were all so friendly and efficient. Fantastic value for money, we will absolutely be going again soon.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonOur family of 9, including four children , visited after seeing The Lion King. It was a great end to a lovely afternoon. Our waiter was so friendly and drinks and food arrived very quickly. The kids menu was brilliant and their food, especially the pizza, was very good quality. The adults’ was just as good! We’d definitely return.
The Quarter Lounge – Southampton2nd pre theatre visit. This was a very disappointing experience. Two chicken dishes ordered, underdone with traces of blood. Servers gave two of us a ‘free’ glass of wine as recompense. Charged and Paid for meals in full. Ordered 3 scoops of ice cream and an Elton mess. The ice cream came with loads of unwanted tasteless berries over the ice cream , tasted but uneaten. Charged and paid in full. Elton mess had a similar topping again tasted but uneaten. Charged and paid in full. Servers were seemingly understanding and apologetic but their manner was not reflected in the total price Charged.
The Quarter Lounge – SouthamptonReally enjoyable food prior to going to the mayflower. Catered for all the family.
