Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamGreat place for a girly lunch! Warm welcome and great food!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeFabulous meal! We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is wonderful too. We had a lovely welcome on our arrival and everyone said goodbye too. I wish you were in london! Love this place, we visit every time we are in Deal.
Bangkok Pavilion – DealI love the food choices, nice staffs and environment.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamFamily of 6 had a delicious breakfast food service first class .
Heathfields – BromleyA really horrible dining experience. Everywhere felt sticky and dirty. There's a huge choice of dishes, but most of it is bland, chewy, and if you like a gamble, it's like playing Russian roulette on which dish will take you down quickest with food poisoning. The tables are designed to fit as many of you in as possible, so if you want a meal with your group of friends, you'll also be having your meal with the groups either side of you. The only edible thing was a crepe, freshly made, in front of you. But after waiting in line, and being the last one to be served, after being ignored for 2 or 3 minutes, the the female chef looked and me and said 'do you want a pancake '. Yes please. 'Well you should have asked'. Maybe she thought I just enjoyed standing with an empty plate by the crepe counter. So rude. So I spend twenty odd quid on chewing food, spitting it into my napkin and eating 1 crepe, rudely prepared. First visit. Never again.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamI have never been to spoon world buffet before and was really excited to try. There was a line out the door which led us to believe it would be amazing, we were wrong. As someone who works in front of house (2nd job) I can completely understand how busy and stressful things get at times, however when you are kind and polite to staff and are rude to in response it doesn’t set the best tone. To begin with, I had my blue light card and ID (drivers lisence with the same name on as blue light card and my picture of me!)this wasn’t good enough for the man at the entrance desk as he said I needed a work id - I do not have one of these as I work in a school. Therefore wasn’t allowed my blue light discount. Oh well we said and continued. On our booking we had stated we needed to be sat at the side/booth if possible due to anxiety, this wasn’t even looked at. When following the server we asked and said about this “no, you sit where I put you” and walked off! We still continued and gave the place the benefit of the doubt even though anxiety was definitely heightened by this point by the workers and their poor attitudes. Food was okay at best, nothing I would return for but definitely a worse review due to the overall experience and rudeness off staff- this continued in the bao bun section there was a chef stood behind the kebab area (wasn’t doing anything at this point ) I asked him which bao bun was which “there’s numbers” rolled his eyes and walked off. I could see there were numbers on the bao bun lids however not on the descriptions of the fillings (they all looked the same!) and didn’t fancy trying octopus so wanted to clarify! Ended up not bothering! The best service I got was off the lovely gentleman at the steak station, the chef was kind and smiley although there was clearly a language barrier he held up fingers for the amount of steaks we wanted and gave us a thumbs up and smiled when done. Desserts where good and this is where I actually ate because of the mains being quiet poor. Overall the experience was poor and I wouldn’t return again based off of most of the staffs attitude and rudeness. Food was okay and could have been overlooked other than this however due to staffs atmosphere created I wouldn’t bother.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamSunday roast was very good again , only one negative is the cauliflower cheese was very watery. Will definitely go again!!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeAs always we had the most amazing lunch. We both had a roast dinner which was fantastic. We love coming back here and will continue to do so. Thank you for having us and for always making us feel so welcome.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe have booked our wedding here for 2026, but keep coming for the sunday roast. The lamb is out of this world, every time. Best cauliflower cheese. Staff always really friendly. Highly recommend
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeFor our first visit it was very relaxing and food was so nice with lots of different foods to choose from

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeOver the years it's improved and has an extensive dinner menu! Staff are excellent and go above and beyond for you...constantly working tirelessly while finding the time to be courteous! Truly outstanding!
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamUpon arrival, the atmosphere was lovely and we really enjoyed the quality of the food. However, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by how rushed and uncomfortable we were made to feel throughout the meal. From the moment we arrived, the lady at reception repeatedly reminded us that we had to leave by 17:00. Even after we acknowledged this, she came to our table multiple times during our meal to repeat the same message. This continued even as we were preparing to leave, when she again reminded us that it was time to go and instructed someone to clear the table while we were still packing up our belongings. We were a party of six, and the constant interruptions made us feel rushed and uneasy. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our meal, we found ourselves watching the time and feeling pressured. This was particularly confusing, as we noticed other guests who were seated both before our arrival and after our departure were allowed to remain undisturbed. My husband raised his concerns directly on the day, as he also felt uncomfortable with the manner in which we were spoken to. Unfortunately, this overshadowed what should have been a positive dining experience for us.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamVery good as always best to book in advance as very busy good quality nothing was ever empty people polite good value for money
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamExcellent food, as always. Was very loud when we were there, but just young people enjoying themselves! Great service, good night.
Bangkok Pavilion – DealThe last time I went spoons was June 2019. This visit was for my son‘s birthday wow how things have changed over the years. I believe there’s so much more variety. The place was very clean I love the new layout and having the fancy metal work just gives it a bit more of a private experience which helps a lot because I had two people in my group that suffered very bad with anxiety and being in a public place, it was a bit awkward in a couple of places because we had a person in a wheelchair as well as a person using a crutch but all in all they absolutely love the place it’s the first time they’ve ever been to a place like that, the food was just absolutely beautiful and tasty and I didn’t have any problems whatsoever. I like the new markings of telling you what’s in the food and not in the food because one of my people was allergic to mushrooms, but on the downside the only issue that I had was I thought the toilets could’ve done with being cleaned on more of a regular basis.
