Went for Sunday lunch, excellent plate of roast beef, Yorkshire puddings with roast potatoes and fresh vegetables served by friendly staff. The hobgoblin gold ale was delicious and refreshing .

Quattro’s – OrmskirkA Lively and bustling gastro pub. great food and good beers Staff friendly. Very dog friendly too. We would recommend it if you are in the area. We travelled from Ingleton as we'd told how good this place was. Recommend booking.
The Station Hotel – LancasterLovely meal and the staff are so friendly
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyLovely place and excellent food at a reasonable price. However, if you are celebrating a birthday within your party, don't expect it to go to plan! 30 minutes after our main meal, we still hadn't received the birthday cake, so I had to ask at the desk if they could bring the cake for the 2 birthday celebrations within our party. They eventually brought the cake but with completely the wrong candle, which I had specially bought! Totally ruined the experience. No one came to ask if everything was alright with the meal. When we arrived no one asked if we wanted drinks. We had to go to the bar ourselves. I have been going to this restaurant for years and the standard has definitely slipped, unfortunately.

Quattro’s – OrmskirkI booked this for a group of school mums to meet up and from email communication to the actual night communication was brilliant. Very accommodating with my booking as I wasn't sure how many there would be in total. Also great service on the night by the 2 people that served us (sorry I didn't get your names). It was tapas night... all the food was delicious and enjoyed by all. I would definitely come back again to try the tapas I didn't get around to trying this time.
