The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenBeautiful restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely food and drinks. Will definitely return and highly recommend anyone to visit.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby Lonsdalelovely food. service great.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFirst visit with friends on their recommendation. Very nice decor, excellent service and staff and most of all the food was delicious. First visit but won’t be our last
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleTwenty odd years ago I gave up on PL . . . after an awful experience which I chose to write to the owners about . . . they didn't respond. So I crossed them off our 'go-to' dining opportunities. Two months ago good friends suggested we went for lunch at PL, slightly apprehensive I agreed . . . well, it was a different place, the food was amazing, the attention to use first class. When our local was closed on a specific birthday we decided to take friends to PL in the evening - we weren't disappointed, just like our recent visit - brilliant. I'd recommend a return.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyMy husband and I had 2 evening meals at this hotel recently. The food was excellent, the service friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere extremely pleasant. We would certainly go again if we lived in the area but we were on holiday!
The Station Hotel – LancasterFirst time here after falling in love with Clitheroe decided to book to celebrate my wife’s birthday and so glad I did. Was a family affair with two young grandchildren and daughter in law. Adults had the cheese soufflé WOW, I had sea bream which was amazing. Food for the kids was great as was the service. Definitely will return lovely atmosphere, approach to the restaurant through courtyard like being abroad.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThe food that we chose was very well presented and delicious....the service was very good and there wasn't long waits between meals!! The whole of the restaurant had a nice relaxed feel to it and we would recommend eating here to all!!
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAlways excellent food and service.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBest food ever the lamb it out of this world . Also took my children with us and made them feel special and gave the lovely dishes to
Toms Table – ClitheroeReally lovely place. We have been a few times recently with different friends/family and everyone has really enjoyed it. Can’t recommend it enough.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe waited over an hour for the starters, when they arrived two plates didn’t have one element of the dish. We were then told they needed the table back for another booking (the place was not full by a long way) we asked if we could eat desserts outside just so we could have dessert. At the end of the meal I nipped inside to the toilet to see the table we were sat at was still free. This is not the kind of service or standard I find acceptable
Toms Table – ClitheroeDelicious pizza - so authentic
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenBack again but this time for Father’s Day Sunday roast. It didn’t disappoint! The best roast we’ve had since last time we came! Fantastic as always. Thank you!
Bread and Butter – PrestonWonderful meal enjoyed by all as usual. Fabulous staff and welcoming as usual. Even my two youngest were delighted with their meal. Andost importantly, my dad had a lovely time and we went for fathers day
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAt first the service was excellent but then had to wait 20 minutes for the sweet menu and then a further 30 minutes to let them know what we wanted. Gave up in the end and asked for the bill. They were very busy though!! Chicken was chewy.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe had been recommended the Sunday roast so booked for Father’s Day. The meal was nice apart from only one slice of meat, a very woody parsnip and an overcooked Yorkshire Pudding. Thinking maybe it was because it was busy with Father’s Day as the weekday menu has always been lush. Or maybe because it was a 4.30 booking and they close at 6 on a Sunday? Atmosphere and setting lovely but wouldn’t promote the roast unfortunately.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonBooked for my son and daughter in law. They were thrilled by the menu, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Couldn't praise their first visit and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!! We knew that as we visit occasionally and have never been disappointed.
