Whins Green KitchenExcellent food and surroundings . Would possibly suggest adding a wider non alcoholic choice including wine as most customers will be driving and would like to have more than a fizzy drink.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAbsolutely superb!! Steak and Date night is excellent value for money. Quality of the steak was exceptional and cooked to perfection. I love the twice baked soufflé to start and my husband was very impressed with la poire belle Hélène. Service is first class with polite and professional front of house and staff. An extra little touch was the birthday cake served at the end of the meal. Altogether a fantastic evening and this remains my favourite restaurant and we will definitely be back soon.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGood food, but very disappointed after seeing “Grill night” advertised on website and then when viewing the menu on arrival and realising that it no longer exists! Reluctant to return.
The Waterwitch – LancasterBeen here a few times we had a 70th birthday celebration there for about 25 of us the food and the service is excellent and we will come again
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFirst time in Quattros since the refurbishment and it’s a really nice restaurant and atmosphere and the food was excellent will be back real soon
Quattro’s – OrmskirkIt was our first time visiting - though we only live in the next door village! We welcomed from the outset with friendly staff who were most attentive. Food was lovely and excellent value. A roaring success and we will be back for sure!
The Station Hotel – LancasterThis is by far the best restaurant in St Helens. The food here is always outstanding and you cannot beat the scallop and prawn risotto. Service is quick (but you don’t feel rushed) when you dine earlier in the evening.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFriendly staff, good food and properly dog-friendly. Family lunch with our son, who's a student at the Uni. Student discount volunteered - both he and we will be back.
The Waterwitch – LancasterThe refurb is really lovely but the bar waiting area needs a bit of work in welcoming guests. Its definately not the bar it used to be but if you are asking people to wait -at least offer the drinks. Food was okay for 3 of us but 1 plate was lukewarm pie & mash with stone cold veg served on a cold plate. The person who had this dish was poorly the next day unfortunately. Food should be piping hot & served on warm plates. Nobody came to ask if our food was okay - staff seem very young. Hopefully feedback will be taken on board and rectified. We will give it another chance at some point but not for a while i think.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent experience. Lovely staff food arrived promptly , we were a family group and everyone really enjoyed their food . Our sons at uni and is planning to come back .
The Waterwitch – LancasterBest food in Penwortham. Not even up for debate
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe only ordered chips which did take a while....however they were damn fine chips and the pints were especially lovely after a walk.
Trawden Arms – ColneFood was amazing however we waited an hour for our breakfast. The young girl who served us was wonderful & clearly capable of managing the front of house as well as placating kitchen staff & helping plate up from the service hatch.
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food was lovely. Unfortunately we ordered an expensive bottle of white wine which at best was luke warm. Whoever runs the cellar/bar needs to rectify this, we asked for ice for the wine, but it was almost undrinkable
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFantastic tapas evening with friends - great atmosphere, amazing food as ever !!
Bread and Butter – PrestonDecent, home cooked, quality food. Not much vegetarian choice.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFirst time diner whilst staying in the area. We had lunch here on a busy Friday service. Service was impeccable as was the food a must if you are staying in Clitheroe. We will be dining here again.
