We took a couple with whom we regularly have lunch at different places to Tom's Table, our favourite local restaurant. As usual the food, service and overall experience was fantastic. The lunchtime offer was both seasonal (it's heading towards Christmas) and the standard varued offer. Between the 4 of us we had a wide-range of dishes across starters, mains and desserts; everything was beautifully presented, tasty and very interesting food. This was far from our first visit and definitely won't be our last.

Great little find. Food was fantastic and the waiter/waitress was very attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone. I traveled a fair way to get here and will do again in the new year.

My husband and I had an evening meal in Sydneys a number of weeks ago, the food was excellent and the building has a lovely feel to it.....very cosy. We did have to wait a while for our food as they were very busy however this didn't put me off enquiring about Christmas works do ......they have a private room on the top floor which seats upto 25 which was perfect so after informing my work colleagues we decided to book......as time went on I printed the menus including the festive menu so there was plenty of choice, I have to say I was a bit apprehensive because I did find the staff member I dealt with a bit negative over several quite basic enquiries.....I made everything very easy for them by collecting in deposits and writing a list of all names and food orders, I also provided crackers party poppers napkins etc as there was a £5 charge for a glass of prosecco on arrival with a cracker, which we declined as not many of us like prosecco and I thought it was a bit tight of them not to provide crackers but never mind as all went well on the evening and the food, service and the room was all excellent and they made plenty on the bar....the staff members I dealt with on the run up just need to be a bit more friendly and less negative because all in all its a lovely venue.

Had a fabulous meal as always at Quattros on Sunday for my daughters 18th birthday meal. 24 of us. Everyone enjoyed it and commented how nice their food was. We eat here regularly and already know how nice the food is which is why we chose here for the birthday meal.

Great food and service for our group booking to celebrate my daughter’s christening. Good baby changing facilities too. Staff very friendly. Best Sunday Roast in the area! Advise checking table layout for larger groups in advance to ensure accessibility.

Love this place! From the welcoming fire that greats you when you first arrive, to the lovely bar man who makes the best cocktails ever - it's a great restaurant for all occasions. We visited with friends who all throughly enjoyed it too. Our waitress was lovely and the food was absolutely gorgeous! Really full of flavour. I love to dine where there is an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs work their magic on your food. I would definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again in the future!

We went to the Trodden Arms for a Christmas party get together. Some of us picked from the party menu the other picked from the regular menu. We where all really happy with our food , big portions and very tasty . The service was first class.

Fabulous plant based menu! So happy to have too much choice! The 3 course is great value and we were all so full but couldn’t leave a thing! Beautiful views and nice clean restaurant. Friendly enough staff. Can’t wait to visit again

Excellent food and a very friendly atmosphere

Worth a miss! Firstly, let's say, the little food we were presented with was tasty. The serving staff were friendly and attentive. However, the time taken to be served our meal, when the place was less than 15% occupied was very poor, nearly 1.5 hours. When we finally did receive our main course, to say there was very little on the plate would be an understatement. We had heard before that service was slow but we didn't expect it to be this slow and the amount of food to be so little. The kind lady did sort the bill for us, however, a very poor experience and clearly it appears to be a known issue.

Took my family out for my daughter in laws birthday on Sunday, there were 5 adults and 3 children. The refurbishment looks great a massive improvement. The food was fantastic from the starters to the desserts. Four of the ma8l meals were off the specials board and they were definitely special. Fantastic food in great surroundings. I would definitely recommend ans will be going again.

Beautiful home cooked food. Served lovely and warm. I had roast beef and it was beautiful with a good selection of veggies and extra gravy . Great service. Will definitely return

Took the whole family including our new grandchild, very welcoming, great service and lovely food, All of us had a really good afternoon.

Had Sunday lunch yesterday. Tender roast beef, cooked to perfection with a selection of vegetables. I’m so Mark is back again. He’s done a great job of refurbishing the restaurant. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent meal as ever , quality of food amazing & service by two ladies fantastic . Only issue was we had to leave our table as another party arrived but after two hours appreciate you will book others in but could have stayed for more drinks . Plus large party took over place & maybe should have had restaurant to themselves
