Had a beautiful meal here at lunchtime this week. Very friendly reception, prompt and efficient service. Food was delicious can highly recommend this restaurant

Three of us went for a meal at The Station last night (31/08/22), which was about the third time in 10-12 weeks. Excellent ales, seems a very genuine place, various old train memorabilia around. Food was very good, prompt (we had pre-booked) and they even went the extra mile for our friend who requested vegetarian gravy with her cheese pie and chips - quality service there. Will almost certainly return, and can recommend.

A very enjoyable lunch. Excellent food and service and good value for money, especially the 2/3 courses for £15/19. It was very quiet so there wasn’t a lot of atmosphere but that is not their fault, and being six of us, it didn’t matter as we made our own!

Amazing food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Lots of choice for vegans which we aren't used to- will definitely revisit to try all of the options.

As ever, excellent in all respects! The food, both starters and mains, was superb - hot tasty and plentiful. It is also worth mentioning the staff as they are always welcoming, yet relaxed with a sense of humour. Worth every penny!

What a fantastic evening- an evening with friends. We Arrived at 7 and we were the last to leave but no one pushed us to go. The time just flew. Attentive and helpful staff. First class food. We all loved it and had a great time! Thank you for the best evening. We will all be back.

Both the starter and the main course were absolutely delicious, and the special deal that was on offer made it a very reasonable price as well. The service was helpful and very friendly, and I would definitely recommend a visit.

I have enjoyed a few meals at the Ginger Bistro and have never been disappointed. The last occasion on the 26th August was no exception - the food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. We went at the busy tea-time period and the food was brought quickly and the staff were prompt in taking our orders, bringing our food and then noticing when we had finished. Love this place and will be back very soon!

We had a table booked for 1.15pm for 6 . When we went to order we were told the chef was catching up with orders and could order in 20 mins , unfortunately it was 2pm before we could place our order which was totally unacceptable as we had an elderly man, an autistic lady and 2 children in the party. The food however when we did get it was very good. Needs to be better organised I think.
