Dined on Friday with myself , my wife and her sister and husband why were at our Holiday home at Crook o lune Caravan park. Food is top draw there and very reasonably priced.No rush to eat up either. A small criticism is that on arrival we were a little early so decided to have a drink at the bar. The service was very slow. The bar man seemed to have many things to do on top of serving customers at the bar. With only 2 people ahead of me it took far too long to be served. Everything else was excellent. Thank you.

The Station Hotel – LancasterThe evening didn't start well as the restaurant didn't have enough staff. But those that were there were very polite. We waited 25 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink after been shown to the sofa area. The wine was not to our taste (no sheraz) once in the restaurant the service and food was superb and the girls did everything to make our evening. On this evening I did propose to my girlfriend and she said yes and the waitress did Ia nice touch round bowl of ice cream saying congratulations. Overall a 7 out of 10 for the start to the evening but got much better as the night went on.

3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeI took my daughter for lunch, it was our first time there. The service was excellent as was the food. It was not what we expected as the sharing platter didn’t appear to be overly appetising. It was delicious and packed with flavours that all came together and left dancing in our mouths after every bite. My daughter is a fussy eater and she really enjoyed it, which was a bonus! Thank you again and we will definitely be revisiting your restaurant.
