We booked here for my birthday which was also our 1st time, I really can't give a better review for this hidden treasure, we were greeted and asked if we had been here before and was then welcomed with a lovely genuine we are happy to meet you both, beautifully decorated and a warmth and cosy feel to the restaurant. The waitress was informative with specials and asked about allergies. We opted for the 3 course early bird menu which had ample choices. Each course was not rushed and we were asked several times if we needed anything else. I would definitely recommend it and have already booked in for our wedding anniversary in June.

We have been there few times before but yesterday's meal was excellent ant the atmosphere. The food was really good and the staff was excellent even the staff at the bar. Once you go and you will want to go all the time. Thank you.

Lovely pub, great staff with a friendly atmosphere. Sadly food was disappointing, I ordered the gnocchi with blue cheese and mushrooms but got a plate full of gnocchi and a bunch of tomatoes, with no evidence of blue cheese and maybe one mushroom chopped up. My advice would be if you haven't got the ingredients take it off the menu.

Spent a lovely few hours on Friday evening at the Trawden Arms, good food & drinks and the service was great, very attentive. Will be coming back for sure.

Trying hard to be bistro and high end but sadly doesn’t meet those expectations. It’s very cold inside and that’s not acceptable for an evening experience The starters were very lacking and unadventurous… I had the salt cod fish cakes which were very under seasoned and very bland… the liver pate was ‘ok’ and well presented but lacked any wow factor … The lamb special was not cooked well…it was over bbq/charred/burnt on the outside and sadly not easy to eat off the bone… the steak was mediocre.. and lacking any flare to make it special or memorable. Will not be returning anytime soon

I’ve been here 3 times now with my family, the most recent being last night for my mum’s 60th birthday. The food is always incredible - so fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and the service is good - a nice little break between courses so you don’t feel rushed. Will continue going back!
