Bread and Butter – PrestonI love visiting this little place. I took my mum for lunch and a treat afternoon. She loved it and so did I. Food is beautiful, all staff are so warm and inviting. Nothing too much trouble. Idilic setting for a Sunday lunch
Whins Green KitchenMeal, staff and service excellent. We had obviously booked in advance and had requested a table for four by the window. We were celebrating two birthdays. At first we were shown to a table in the middle of the room along side a large table of very noisy diners obviously celebrating. The waiter saw my reaction and thankfully offered us a spare table in the bottom corner by the window so we were happy. The Restaurant was full to capacity but the waiters still managed to speedily deliver our meals. Excellent food and service.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe were advised to eat here and we enjoyed our visit, service was spot on, food was lovely. Thank you
The Station Hotel – LancasterWe had a lovely Sunday lunch accompanied by a bottle of wine which was of a good standard for the money. The waitress was very pleasant and both she, the bar staff and landlord checked at various times during the time we were there that everything was ok for us. The pub decor showed a lot of care and attention to detail. We feel very lucky to have a quality local pub on our doorstep and hope that it will go from strength to strength.
Trawden Arms – ColneWe would recommend The Trawden Arms . It has lovely food we both had burgers , mine was the Chicken Katsu burger which was a big piece of chicken and very tasty. My husband had the beef burger which he enjoyed too. The food is isn’t overpriced either which is good too. The atmosphere in the pub was very friendly, relaxed and happy . We were made welcome when we arrived. All the staff are lovely , chatty and friendly .I’m sure will go back .
Trawden Arms – ColneThe first time we have visited Ginger Bistro, we will certainly be returning. The food and staff excellent.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFantastic meal out last night. A hidden gem in Burnley. Some of the best tapas food we have had for a long time. Brilliant atmosphere and we can’t wait to rebook! A must try.
Astoria – BurnleyNot overly impressed with the food to be brutally honest, after hearing good reports was quite disappointed with the quality of the food, Viewed menu online before arriving at the premises, seemed to be larger with more choices than the menu in the premises, The starters were very nice, the dirty fries were completely unexpected, cheese sauce instead of grated cheese, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, The service was was efficient and well organised, and value for money I wouldn't pay for this again, quite undesirable
The Waterwitch – LancasterSuperb meal last night. The beef medallions is outstanding! In fact all the dishes we had were excellent. Great atmoshere and lovely staff too.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallNever disappoints. Friendly staff and delicious food.
The Ginger Bistro – Preston5 star
The Station Hotel – LancasterLovely food Lovely atmosphere Really tasty food
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonNice staff. Good food & coffee. Convenient for breakfast lunch & dinner. Had breakfast with friends, and did what it says on the tin. Very happy .
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVery relaxing afternoon lunch with a friend. The food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive. It was really nice that they didnt rush us to leave the table after we had finished our food. The cost for lunchtime was also very reasonable.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFrequently eat at Quattros and have never had a bad or mediocre meal there over a great number of years. All the staff are friendly , polite and helpful . Good Ambiance and value for money.
Quattro’s – Ormskirk‘Mum and son outing’. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Whins Green Kitchen and will certainly return (maybe combining with a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside). The choice of food and quality was even better than expected - a vegan and vegetarian’s delight but I would also recommend to non-vegan friends. Cakes and deserts irresistible but as my son was full after his starter and meal he chose to take a cake home. Service was excellent with a warm personal touch.
