Excellent food and service again. Sunday roast is superb.

Went on a Sunday as we got a voucher as a gift for Christmas as we had expressed to friends and family how good the food was and how much we enjoyed visiting; it was quiet but had a lovely atmosphere with the fire burning in the corner, felt very homely. Service was great, food was amazing. Such good value for money, we will definitely be returning as it is always such a lovely experience!

Visited Whins on a Sunday with my husband, daughter and granddaughter. Adult food was delicious but we were disappointed that the chips that came with my granddaughter's meal were salted.

Sunday celebration lunch for 4. Excellent food and good friendly service. We have been many times and consider the food and surroundings maintain a high standard.

We celebrated our son Virat's 21st Birthday and the staff and food were great and would visit again.

Really lovely home cooked food in a beautiful location. On the downside, when we arrived we were told off by the manager for booking online as she said she didn't have access to that! Buy she allowed us in. We sat by the door and as we ate she continued to greet people rudely and turn them away even though there were plenty of empty tables inside and out. Strange way to run a business. Her attitude put us off returning to be honest. Shame.

Fish and chips were excellent. Menu is a bit limited for vegetarians and the specials were already on the main menu. We wished we’d sat in a side IOM as it aas so noisy we couldn’t really chat to our friends. Service was slow but they had a lot of diners in and did their best. Staff all friendly and helpful.

A stunning place. Food great. Staff really friendly and helpful. Felt looked after. Had the steak and ale pie and it was delicious. It was really busy so thought we might have to wait a while so ordered some nibbles which were equally good. i think its fair to say that we were rather full when we left!

Excellent restaurant . Food was excellent, for two people we shared 2 small plates and a pasta and it was ample. It arrived quickly and was ice and hot. The staff were all very friendly. The atmosphere was brilliant. It was extremely good value for money. Can’t wait for the next time.

By far the best pizza and garlic bread you will ever taste! Unbelievable quality and a lot of care put into it. Feels very homemade

Great service but very considerate and cheerful staff. Food excellent as always and this time instead of starter we had pudding’s that did not disappoint. Presentation was excellent. Many thanks . Most certainly worth a visit .
