Have been to the Park Inn twice and it has been excellent. We are going again for my Mother-in-law's birthday so we know we are in for a treat. The staff and landlord make you feel very at home. Would definitely recommend.

The Park Inn – AccringtonFood was ok but not enough roly in the poly.
Guild Merchant – PrestonA real gem for the Burnley area. Loved my parma ham and aubergine pizza. Great views over the countryside and beautiful venue inside. A family business with a passionate team behind them. Well worth a visit!
Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyI recently visited the Lark Hill Restaurant with a party of 6. The restaurant is stylish, elegant and yet not off putting or ostentatious. There's a balcony which gives a great view of the 9 hole golf course and beautiful countryside beyond. The welcome from the staff is warm and solicitous and the bar has a nice selection of bottled beers. Also, there's a guest real ale on draft as well as the usual quality draft lagers.Being vegetarian, I started with cauliflower soup. It was perfectly seasoned and exquisitely balanced. I'm no cook, but I could almost taste the skill. The next course, mushroom risotto, was perfect. All of us had a great dining experience and continued enjoying the convivial atmosphere over a leisurely coffee. Before and during the meal, our satisfaction was ensured by the friendly, diligent waitresses.Overall, a memorable evening was had by all of us and I'm looking forward to our next visit.
The Lark Hill Restaurant at the Oak Royal Golf and Country Club – ChorleyJust looked back at a previous review we gave for the Golden Lion - wow how things have changed! We were fans until about 3 years ago when the food went rapidly downhill - the amount of MSG was leaving us all with terrible headaches, even when we asked for it to be omitted. We stopped getting our takeaways at the Golden Lion until last week, when we thought we might give it another go. Big mistake. As vegetarians we don't eat meat or fish so why did we get prawns in the 'vegetarian' noodle dish and pork in the 'vegetable' spring rolls? The rest of the food was too salty to eat. Awful - what a shame as it used to be such a great restaurant.
The Golden Lion – MorecambeA little disappointed to be honest. the place itself was loverly but when we ordered our food my partner ordered chilly burger to then be told 15mins later that they where out of stock!! we then decided to go for jacket potatoes, the garnish was a few simple green lettice leaves that look like they had been long past there sell date.my potatoe (bacon and cheese only had 4 bits of bacon and a sprinkle of cheese on top.it was,nt even filled..the waiter where very polite and enthusiastic and apologetic
The Acorn – AccringtonMy wife and I were invited to a function in Northcote's new private dining suite. Everything was spot on, efficient service, quality food and a real luxurious location. We also were lucky enough to have a tour of the stunning new kitchen complete with a chefs table with video link. Highly recommended.
Northcote – BlackburnMyself and my daughter visited this cafe in May. I had a Jacket potato and my daughter a panini. the total cost was just under £20. Rather expensive for what you got, My complaint is that there was no variation on the standard beans and cheese for the jacket. I wanted Cheese and coleslaw. I was told I had to pay for extra items if I wanted something not specified on the menu. The standard of the food has fallen since my last visit and the portion sizes have also shrunk. I got about a tablespoon (one small ramekin dish) of cheese with my jacket for which I was charged over £1.50.The salad was mainly lettuce and carrot. I have 3 pieces of corn and one minute cherry tomato. and 2/3 small pieces of cucumberI have emailed Raffles Coffee house twice in May and have not had a reply. The month later I hand delivered a letter which had my emails with it at the end of June and I still have not had a reply. Raffles Coffee House, money is hard to earn, your prices are over expensive for what you get. You ask for feedback on your site, for what reason, just to ignore it???? For an establishment not to be able to have the courtesy to reply to a complaint you are not worth another visit and I rather think that word of mouth by social media is the way forward.Totally dissatisfied and disgusted that you are not able to reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raffles Coffee House – PrestonSuperb steak and sauces to die for. Staff excelled in all aspects. Will be returning and recommending
NYC Steakhouse & Grill – PrestonGreat food and great customer service will be going back soon.
NYC Steakhouse & Grill – PrestonWe had the unlimited Tapas Menu and every dish that was brought out was extremely tasty and thoroughly enjoyed by all out party, in the end we had to ask them not to bring any more out as we were all full. The manager Steve made sure we were all looked after and the staff were all very helpful. The mushroom and stilton pepperpot was my favourite dish but they were all yummy. The toilets were nice and clean too. Highly recommended.
Mundo Tapas – Preston14 of us went to Mundo's on Saturday an early Birthday celebration and we had a fantastic time, The food the staff we were looked after very well. Thank you to Stevie & the Team x PS We will definately be returning for many more visits.

The Beaumont – ChorleyWent for evening meal, not many people there at all, even so the service was really slow. The food was nice but not a huge menu. Don't think I will be in a hurry to return, sorry.
Charnock Farm Restaurant – LeylandThe service was not as good as I expected. One of the employees with quite big eyebrows and a double chin gave me grief as she was passing me my food. Furthermore, the hat she wore looked silly on personally i think that red doesnt suit her.
Bannys Drive-Thru – BurnleyI visited tonight with my dad and we ate a fantastic meal! We shared a cheesy garlic bread followed by a tasty salmon pasta dish and the chef's special sirloin steak covered in para ham and mozzarella cheese in a sage sauce. From the moment we walked in we were looked after amazingly well by Nina. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and everyone makes you feel welcome. The food is amazing everytime I visit and is good value for money. The atmosphere and music flows well and just adds to the relaxed dining experience. Thank you Tim, Nina and Yre, we look forward to returning soon.
