The Willows – BlackburnWe recently visited the newly opened Bluemoon restaurant and found it to be a delight - Beautifully appointed, delicious food, good atmosphere, and it compares favourably with the prices of any nearby competitor. The staff were helpful and attentive. We will certainly be planning a return visit soon
Blue Moon Restaurant – LancasterVisited last week and really impressed with extended dining area. The new layout (last visited about 10 years ago) has really enhanced the place and the service and food were very good. Will be returning in the new year.
Pinocchios – PrestonOur first visit , & we loved it, the staff were all very friendly, lovely homely atmosphere, & the food was truly delicious, presented beautifully, we enjoyed every moment there, we will be visiting on a regular basis from now on, thanks so much!! from Julie & Garry Parkinson wigan
Amelies – ChorleyHave just been for our works Christmas meal and never have i ever had such an awful meal! After waiting 30 minutes to be seated at our booked table, we waited another 20 minutes to place a drinks order. 45 minutes after being seated, our pre-ordered meals came out in dribs and drabs. To be fair, our meals were ok, bit salty but edible. After finishing our meals, our drinks arrived and the bill was delivered, with an extra £80 more than what was quoted when booking. After speaking with a very rude manager, we paid for drinks, meals and extra each (all quoted prices by the manager) we still ended up apparently owing another £16 which could not be explained by the manager, but as he would not back down, it was all paid. Out of pocket and utterly disgusted, i think we can all happily say we will definitely NOT be dining there again.
Golden Dragon – LancasterThis place appears to be a hidden secret! I went there for Sunday lunch and was highly impressed by the food quality and good real ales. I had the sirloin steak which was done to perfection - chargrilled, pink inside and very tender. My better half had the slow cooked belly pork and mash which was also tasty and tender. The cheese board I had to follow was superb but too much for one person. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there were a couple of proper fires making the pub really cosy. Great value and worth a trip out for. Apparently people mistake this for the Ship at Lathom but believe me the food is better here.
The Ship Inn – OrmskirkGreat food, great service !
Italian Cottage – ChorleyI have been several times and have enjoyed my past visits to such an extent we have recommended the place to friends. However, we visited last night (10/12/11), taking some friends, making a group of 6. We were disappointed to be imposed with a 10% service charge as there were 6 in our party - this type of discrimination is unfair - I mean, where is the difference in serving a table of say 8 guests, or 2 tables of 4 guests each? Anyway, when we tried to mention it to the boss, and complain about an element of the food, he was very unhelpful. I for one will not be spending my money in there again!
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallI visit The Grey Mare for a meal once or twice per month. The staff are always friendly and the food is always great, especially for the price. I don't know what "Juniper" expects but I suggest you try it out for yourself.
Grey Mare Inn – BlackburnFancied seafood and was in lancashire so checked Sugarvine. Was not disappointed. Great terrine, whitebait and fresh crab cocktail.Considering their name it was a pity there were no oysters though! Definitely will recommend this place.
Oyster and Otter – Blackburnexcellent food and service really enjoyed it ,definitely go again
Amico Mio – ClitheroeThe emporium a place you can wine and dine in relaxation. Its one of my favourite places.

Kashti – PrestonMy daughters Molly and Lucy and stayed at Thorneyholme farm cottage october 28 and 29 we had our tea on both evenings at Pendle inn we loved the food there and the staff were very polite and friendly a warm welcome always awaits cant wait to come back again a big thumbs up thanks
Pendle Inn – Burnleybooked for 19.45 Saturday last arrived introduced ourselves and said we had booked ,we were then told to find a table not shown so off we went got to the table waited five mins no menus got up and had to ask for them at this point waitress said i will come and ask what drinks we would like ten mins later she arrived ,ordered starters ,they came and were ok the mains followed max asked for the pork which said it was served with potatoes but came with chips but as we thought we were lucky to get the food we didn't complain myself i got stake i wanted medium rare which it was but not as hot as id have liked i also ordered a pepper sauce but again i had to get up and ask for it drinks ordered again but never came until we had to ask again plates left for some time before being taken away puddings ordered and came both were very good .all in all food was good but what really lets this place down is the service this was the second time we had been to the goose and service was as bad last time ,we wont be going again
