Dixi Plus – PrestonI have eaten here many times still as good as ever
The Fleece Inn – LancasterWe were totally surprised by the range and diversity of the dishes. When our food arrived we were gobsmacked by the quantity on each plate. If you are going to eat here, bring your appetite - we were glad, for once, that we didn't have a starter and we certainly didn't have room for pudding. Definitely value for money and we will be going back repeatedly.
Farmers Arms – OrmskirkAlways good food matched with good service. Can get busy but then thats what success does for you!
Hospital Inn – PrestonOver the past 12 months or so we have become regulars at this fantastic restaurant. The food and service are outstanding, we have never had a meal that wasn't of the quality we would expect. The owners Joe and Karen just can't do enough to make your visit memorable. The ambience of the place is spot on, and the musicians that play regularly at the weekend just add to the occassion. Add to the wide range of food the great choice of quality wines and you will have a night to remember. A must for anyone who loves this type of cuisine.
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallWe called in mid-week and were more than satisfied with the great choice of food. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. We noticed that the Sylhet did a roaring trade in "take away". Will almost certainly go again.
Sylhet – BlackburnI celebrated my birthday bash and it was out of this world! The staff were very friendly indeed. The quality of food is outstanding - melts in your mouth! Would most definitely visit on a regular basis. The manageress is very nice and friendly - always provides a smile with the service!
Valley Cantonese – RawtenstallI have been to Dante's a few times and the food there is excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and fantastic with kids. I would recommend though that if you don’t like big portions or get filled up quite easily to have a starter then have a main meal but have it as a starter portion, it is plently enough. The garlic bread is superb, if you like spice ask them to add chilli to the tomato garlic bread. This place is a must the wine and food are excellent.
The Halfway House – ChorleyGreat place, fantastic decor, very modern. Emma J
Vedas – TodmordenGreat place. fantastic decor. very modern. emma. j
Vedas – TodmordenI was very impressed with both service and food and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food, good company and fantastic value for money. In addition the atmosphere in the restaurant that night was fantastic, with my group having a memorable evening. Thank you again to Nino's staff and Alex.
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallI would say that this was quite an experience, this is one of these places where you can feel that the staff although proud of their work don't set out to make you feel out of place and this is such breath of fresh air when dining on the so called fine dining scene nowadays. I would say that you are probably looking at one of the north west foodists destination of the near future especially if you consider the level of the competition around. I would say that if the neighbouring one star michelin are means of assessing this restaurant it would already be 2 stars in my book highly recommended
Mr Freds @ Stanley House – BlackburnWonderful place to eat - food excellent, service brilliant. A little haven to visit and relax. Foxy
Vedas – TodmordenVery good food I was in mamma mia 10 years go beacuse i'am the niece of captain nino I love the place.
Mamma Mia – BurnleyWe visit Bangla Fusion regularly and are never disappointed. The service is quick, the staff very helpful and the food leaves you stuffed(in a good way). The prices, although quite expensive, are what we would expect from any restaurant of this quality. This place is a must and we look forward to going back again.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonMy husband and I visited the Three Fishes for our first wedding anniversary back in May. We had travelled all the way from Manchester because we knew the food would be good. As predicted the food was spot on, especially the Formby asparagus - I didn't realise it grew in the sand dunes!! I don't really understand why people have a problem with the no booking policy. We gave the staff our names and it was added to the chalk board. We then chilled out over a glass of pimms/guiness and had a good look through the menu. Even though the place was rammed, we only had to wait 20 minutes. I hate to be rushed so this system is ideal. The only problem I have with the place is the lack of atmosphere once they have stopped serving food. We got the impression that people are not encouraged to stay for drinks once they have finished their meal. Also, why don't they sell Jim Beam or Jack Daniels???? Very odd.
The Three Fishes – ClitheroeI've eaten here for years as my local takeaway used to be owned by the same owners. Myself and my husband travel quite a lot and eat a lot of curries, AGRA is up there with the best. Try the Aloo chat for starters, it's great!
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyWe held our Wedding Reception here in May 2006 and I really cannot sing highly enough of it. The entire day was perfect, the staff were faultless and made us feel like royalty. The food was to die for and we are still receiving compliments 12 months on about the pink champagne! Thank you Northcote for a truly memorable day.
