Visited with 4 other family members on Saturday, the food was fantastic and so was the service! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cocktails, we had two espresso martinis which tasted awful, the staff refused to change or refund the drinks which was frustrated, they honestly tasted like they were pre made or from a can which is not what you expect when paying £8.50 per cocktail!

The Station Hotel – LancasterQuick meal before going to the cinema. Friendly staff, prompt service, lovely cocktails and great food. I had the fish platter and have to say it was one of the best I have had. Sydneys is just what Lancaster needs. Nice to see that beautiful building back in business!

Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterThe first time I came here I had the best pizza I’d ever tasted. Every time since I feel like I’m chasing a high and the quality hasn’t been the same. Last pizza night the pizza was underdone and doughy. My cheesy garlic bread was underdone, as were my chips. My girlfriend had the same issue. Such a shame since I know you’re capable of better.
The Waterwitch – LancasterSaturday afternoon and our first visit to Sydneys. Food was good and enjoyable but the fish pie was quite small with a small amount of greens. Nice to be in the booths but the service was quite disappointing and really did let the experience down. We are likely to go back but the service needs improving.

Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterI really love this place and have eaten both the lunch and dinner menus. The hummus wrap is amazing and the sharing fishboard is the best thing,!!! The service is great and it has a friendly, culled vibe that leads to a great dining experience.

The Station Hotel – LancasterWe had pre booked a table as we were coming by boat and the weather forecast was unsettled. Glad we did as it was busy when we arrived for a Saturday lunch. We had the Cajun chicken burger, hanging chicken kebab, scampi and gammon. All meals were cooked nicely and arrived quickly. The extra onion rings we ordered were huge! Friendly service, good selection of food and drinks. Will be back
The Waterwitch – LancasterFriday evening catch up with our friends. We had a booth which was comfortable and, with the high backs, gave a nice feeling of privacy. In fact, the restaurant has had a facelift which is very nice indeed. Our friendly waitress took our very pleasantly priced and variety available drinks order promptly but took some time to then arrive, having to ask for them. Our food was delicious but lacked basic serving etiquettes….we had to ask for serving plates for our serving board plus three of us had mussels (yummy!) but the bowls for finger washing and shells we again had to ask for. Overall, a lovely night and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
