Booked a table for my sons birthday lunch. Luckily it was sunny and dry. Staff were quick and attentive. Our meals were excellent , my son had the moules marnierre and he thought it was the best he had eaten. My husband ordered the smoked haddock fish cakes and said they were excellent . We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will certainly be back !
The Lodge – LancasterFound out a friend had a live slot on the Sunday so used the website to book a table. To say the food was lovely would be an understatement. It was absolutely fantastic. Even my very picky missus and girls found something to fully enjoy. To add to that when my other half had a seizure, all the staff and management were honestly concerned and wanted to make sure she was okay. So a massive thank you to all at the Lodge. We will definitely be back. 11/10.
The Lodge – LancasterDecided last minute that we fancied a Sunday lunch. Booked in easily via the website despite it only being in 30 minutes. I have to say that I had the most delicious roast beef with all the trimmings. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10!

The Lodge – LancasterWe love this place.! The food is some of the best in the area . Fresh, good blends of flavor and well presented. They Also have a well stocked bar . It’s a lovely old building with an outside view not many places of this standard have looking right out across the bay towards the Cumbrian fells. They are still developing the outside area but I’d say by summer this place will be one of the nicest places to visit and sit outside, If a fire pit is added then winter will be a great time to visit And site outside.

The only thing I don't like is that middle seating area next to the kitchen - it needs something doing to it - it is very stark. Theres are other areas to eat which are a lot better - will ask to be there next time. Also impressed with the covid cleanliness etc. Would recommend.
