Ok food.Sunday dinner poor selection of veg trimmings. We had high expectations due to the quote on website re master chef professional chef. Pub in need of an update. Toilets poor decor and a proper clean. Friendly staff but did have to ask for them to collect our plates and for the dessert menu. Over priced meal. We were left slightly disappointed.
Ship Inn – LancasterLovely afternoon, sat by the canal, drinking beer, in the sun. We ordered food and I got a pizza, it was one of the nicest pizzas I’ve ever had, will delete get one next time I’m there. Staff were friendly, toilets clean.

The Station Hotel – LancasterFirst time we have been here for a wile, staff were very helpful and soon took our order. The meal was OK apart from the roast beef had a lot of fat on it making a lot of waste which was unfortunate as the rest of the meal was good.

Wagon and Horses – LancasterI booked the Wagon and Horses for my Mum’s 90th birthday meal, and we could not have been more delighted by the service; the food was amazing and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. My Mum had a fabulous time, as did the rest of the party. Highly recommended, both for the menu and the extremely friendly staff!

Knew about the no alcohol as says on the website. All in a lovely atmosphere and made daughter feel special.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterContacted Farrah at the Station Hotel a while ago to make a booking, ahead of a planned hot air balloon flight nearby. Changed times and party numbers a few times, and nothing was ever too much trouble. This carried forward into the service when we arrived yesterday. Farrah greeted us, and gave us a lovely private table for our group, and was attentive but not overbearing. All 7 meals came out together, and were cooked and presented beautifully, and everybody had something different, and all enjoyed their meals. We will most definitely add this to our favourites list, and visit again when in the area. Thank you all so much.
