As usual the food was excellent. Although we had to wait longer than usual for our meals. The service was good, our oder was taken immediately on arrival. When our food eventually arrived one of our party did not receive the vegetables with the steak pie, I wasn't sure if it was included with the meal, so I asked the waiter and he brought it to us, Generally we have a good experience when we dine at Tockets , and weren't the only table that had to wait a while for their food.. I do understand that it was fairly busy on this occasion.

We came to The Craven Arms for lunch yesterday. The food was outstanding. We were a group of 5 and had a mix of starters, mains and desserts. Every single thing was delicious. Lovely service and reasonably priced. We were particularly impressed with the standard of presentation! Definitely the best meal I’ve had in the area and will now be our regular

We visited Tabby Teas for the first time yesterday morning . We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and spending time with the lovely cats. Staff were very welcoming and able to answer all of our questions. We loved the vegan chocolate brownies and all of our hot drink choices. We will definitely be making a return visit.

A group of us visited Brooks last month and had a very enjoyable lunch here. The service was very good and the food delicious.

An absolutely lovely meal off the specials board. Combined with a local real ale, great service and nice surroundings and atmosphere, made for a really nice evening after a long journey.

Went to the Bistro following England test match. The food was fantastic, authentic french bistro food. Perfectly cooked. The service was exemplary. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We will definitely come back next year after the cricket.

Fantastic service, with amazing food. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere with staff that can't do enough for you. We had the all you can eat menu and the quality of the food was exceptional. Every dish was prepared fresh and cooked to order, the small dishes let you sample many flavours. We will definitely come back and bring more family members with us!

Lovely surroundings with excellent food and service

We came here for Sunday lunch and it was the best roast we have ever had at a pub. Absolutely delicious and very big portions. Staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommend it.

Friendly, unobtrusive service. We went during the day and the choices were tacos and brunch. Five of us were fed with drinks for under £75 - such good value, especially for the quality of the food. There was a little confusion over what we'd ordered which was assorted out with no fuss and ended up with us getting a few free tacos. Great place!

Lovely restaurant, great food, excellent service. Only suggestion I have is to put people with a dog or dogs at the side - we had two dogs and felt a bit in the way of people and the staff, and would have been out of the way at a table at the side/next to the wall. We put in the booking that we had 2 dogs.
