Had a last minute campervan stopover here for sunday dinner and am so glad we did. The food was phenomenal. I’ll be dreaming about that steak pie for a while and the boudin starter too. Had a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to wash it all down. Really relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly in all areas, next to a nature reserve for a lovely walk. Very welcoming and friendly x

Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughParty of four had a lovely meal yesterday. Early evening when we arrived and pretty quiet. We asked to be seated in the conservatory which soon filled up. Food was very good, although a long wait between ordering and the food arriving but could have had a lot of orders in. Very good value for money and would not hesitate to recommend. We come here quite often.

We were given menus to choose our desserts and then had to ask a member of the bar staff for someone to take our order, having waited at least half an hour. It was busy and there were not enough staff working.

We went for the sharing platter this time, with a couple of extras; always, always go for the cauliflower cheese - it's on the next level. I also took a side of the parsnips which were good, but I prefer mine with a crunch. The beef was succulent, so well cooked, you could chew it with your tongue it was that tender. I have been going to the Copper Cow for a couple of years now and never have I been disappointed. Always, full on flavours and excellent quality. As it was a Sunday, the Big Fella was not around, shame, he's a top host with a passion for what he does. I could say more, but I am starting to feel peckish and another visit is due. Absolutely, the Copper Cow is the best in show.
