We went for a meal with my partner and friends on Tuesday 25th March, the food was absolutely amazing, service was fabulous, couldn’t fault anything bad about the evening

Great service and good in a lovely pub!

Tremendous menu and lovely service from two really smart young waiters. We hosted two (VIP) friends from London, who live just by the Globe Theatre - loved everything about Le Bistro and reckoned there was nowhere near them which came close to the style, variety and quality. As locals we were pleased to hear this - but already knew the place was something special. Metropolitan quality with Yorkshire prices (and portions: none of us left hungry) The waiter recommended an excellent Portuguese red which was so good we forced ourselves to have a second bottle.

Birthday meal on 25 March - even though our booking was for 5 we arrived at 4 and was able to be seated/served. We had the cajun grilled chicken and lamb koftas with onion rings and loaded fries, beautiful/fresh and very tasty. Excellent food and service and spotlessly clean.

Absolutely amazing food The portions are fantastic and the quality is great. The staff are fantastic and so polite. Nothing is too much for them. Highly recommend

Ordered grilled chicken, was asked if I wanted seasoning, I asked what it was and told salt and pepper, unfortunately when it turned up it clearly had chilli flakes on it. I am allergic to chilli so had to send it back. Nowhere was it stated that this dish contained chilli. I had to wait a further 25 minutes to get my food (I had been told 10 minutes) and had to take it to go because I had to go back to work. My companion had to eat alone whilst i waited. The replacement chicken had never been near a grill and was pale and insipid looking and not very appetising All in all a bad experience. There was no allowance made for this on the bill.

My wife and I visited the Craven Arms yesterday for dinner. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed our meals. Great quality fresh produce and skilled chefs. The waitress and staff were great too. We have visited on three separate occasions over the past 6 or 7 years and each time the food and service has been top notch.

Whenever we are in the area we always book here for a meal. Excellent quality food and service. This time I had the Tunney Steak (Tuna) and my wife had fresh crab salad with extra prawns washed Down with a very nice Pinot Grigio. I guarantee you won’t eat better anywhere in the area.

We love the Lookout Cafe it is always a highlight of our visits to Scarborough. The food is always delicious, the best we’ve found in Scarborough. The service is always brilliant and the location is spot on.

Ate here with my partner, children and mum on Sunday 23rd March and everything was lovely. The food was great as always and fantastic service. This is probably our 7th or 8th visit to Sambuca and it's always brilliant, this is why we keep returning. Can't recommend this place enough!

So first of all good is fantastic and lovely pub/restaurant, no issues there My issue was we pre booked on a Saturday evening 22nd at 7.30 with our dog. When we got to site 15 mins early I was very abruptly approached by a ladies with glasses, asking if I booked, when I said yes she took my name etc and then turned to me and went "you didn't tell me you had a dog" even though I had booked with the comment "well behaved dog coming too" I was told I needed to take my dog somewhere else if I wanted to eat. So this wasn't the worst thing in the world so we did and came back, when we came back she again kept telling me I didn't book for a dog and didn't have space for a spot with the dog When speaking to another member of staff at the bar she said "these are points I've raised before, to her colleague" which was a bit weird. Then throughout the night I was then told I did infact book with a dog and essentially was lied too to make me think I was wrong, I was then asked by members of staff to make a complaint as this is a normal thing the manager does as she lets none dog people eating, sit in the dog friendly area, essentially taking our table. We don't live local so was a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world to not have the dog, but being lied too and then having a really weird vibe from staff made our night uncomfortable

The food was really good, we both enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is lovely. One small niggle, when I received the bill one dish was costed at £24.95, however we remembered it being in the menu as £24 when we ordered. I grabbed a menu on the way up to the bar to pay and it was actually £24. I know it’s only £0.95 but when you order at a price then that is what should be charged. The waitress suggested (all of) the menus were old and needed updating when I pointed this out and didn’t seem to understand that the restaurant can’t just make a new price up after I have ordered and eaten it at a given price. The right thing to do would have been to redo the bill with the correct price but they just didn’t seem to know what to do. Again it’s only £0.95 out of a total bill of £70 but the principal remains. Unfortunately it ended up coming out of their service charge which isn’t what I wanted to do at all. The management should rectify this and check prices quoted are reflected at the till as it’s not very professional.

So we booked an evening meal last Saturday after seeing rave reviews and we were not disappointed. Staff friendly with relaxed atmosphere and good music as background. The food was superb!! Whitebait crispy and flavoursome followed by a fish stew and chowder. Oh my life!! Wow!! Fantastic!! I only wish we had been staying longer in Scarborough so we could visit again. Most grateful thanks to all involved . See you next time!!

The food was delicious as usual, Denmans is one of our favourite restaurants. The menu never disappoints.

Good atmosphere, efficient and friendly staff, excellent food, real value for money.

Service was brilliant lovely staff garlic mushrooms for starters was outstanding, choose a parmo for the main course unfortunately we where both really disappointed as it was laced in fat other than that I’d probs go again just wouldn’t get the parmo

Absolutely beautiful food , the staff was very attentive and welcoming , I recommend the all you can eat buffet , I would definitely use again
