Excellent service , food fab.

We took 5 people for first time and there was a very definite thumbs up!

Had an excellent meal last night. Choice was different to your standard pub meals. All tasted great. Service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great food and interesting menu but very short-staffed and slow service. All around guests were waiting for service or complaining about mistakes in food or wine. To be fair our food was correct and very good and a very young waiter stayed calm. We were not too bothered by the delays but there were rows from some other guests and one table stormed out halfway through. A pity.

We went for breakfast. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. Despite arriving before other tables, they were served ahead of us, and we were fed up of waiting so had to flag someone down to take our order. That said, the food itself was mostly great! Cooked to order, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the well-done bacon was spot on, and the toast was lovely—though a little marmalade would have been a nice touch. My only real disappointment was the sausage. I had asked for it well done, but what arrived was only well done on a short strip one side, while the rest was pale. It was inedible for me, but at least the dog enjoyed it!

Brilliant and friendly service. The cats were very happy and well cared for. The only thing I’d probably say if to have a little more choice of food.

We have dined here several times and the food is always a very good standard. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Portion sizes are good and very good value for money.

The food is always fabulous. A mix of fine local ingredients and French style cuisine. I will be back.

I have never had a negative experience at El Toro, it’s been a few months since I last visited and was very impressed with the menu changes and additions. The food was even better than before, both in taste and quality. The service was still top notch and catered to our every need. The only improvement I would like to see is the possibility to add a tip when paying by card/ contactless.

Visited for drinks on several occasions and always enjoyed the cask ale choice & quality. Our dogs have always been made welcome too which is great. We decided to eat for a birthday celebration and we weren’t disappointed as the small plates menu is fantastic in terms of quality & choice. Would highly recommend.

Second visit in 12 months, on a short break. Lovely food, staff, atmosphere and fab location!!

I love that the establishment uses rescues, the cats were all really friendly and we were allowed to feed them chicken :) Food and drink was also delicious, recommend for cat lovers.

Have stayed at The King`s Arms several times and the food is always good. There are varied and interesting dishes, always well cooked and presented with good portion sizes. There is always a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Once again top quality food Try it once and you will be back Look forward to our next visit Well worth the drive from Leeds
