We use the Tempest as one of our favourite venues to run our food safety and HACCP training courses. The food is fantastic (very large portions so be warned). Bedrooms are also very comfortable and reasonably priced - two executive suites with hot tubs! Decor is cosy with plenty of modern, colourful touches. Make sure you book at busy times otherwise you could have a long wait in the bar as it's VERY popular.

Not overly impressed. I took my uncle and aunt from the USA to The Bull and we had to pay up front just because we asked to sit outside. Did the five of us (two of whom were in their 60s) look as if we were really going to do a runner? Also there was very little choice on the lunchtime menu and the staff seemed disinterested. Disappointed - had expected so much more from Nigel!

went last night with my partner after reading revues, can only say must be trading on past reputation, food was just ok , building looking tired, staff friendly , aagrah Leeds far superior !!!

Great for business lunches or a romantic meal for two. Situated on the main parade of shops and restaurants in Saltaire. I went for lunch with our PR consultant and we both enjoyed a light lunch.

I booked the Cattlemans as it was recommended by someone who had been there several years ago and had a great meal. By all accounts it used to be a top steak house. We were a party of 6 and we all had a steak. Out of the 6 only 2 had been cooked correctly. I sent my cremated medium well, bone dry steak back and it came back less than 10mins later as a rare steak with blood oozing out all over the plate but again burnt on the outside! This was a £19.00 fillet and they got it wrong twice. Even the two steaks that had been cooked OK were nothing special and 4 of us didn't enjoy our meal. This was on top of the fact the meals took over an hour to come in the first place and the chips were barely warm when they arrived. The final insult came when I paid the bill. I had a 25% discount voucher from Harrogate Vouchers and they wouldn't honour it. They said that the voucher was only for 25% off the food up to 4 people and as we had a table of 6 I couldn't use it! I had to insist they take the service charge off. What a dreadful place. It is obviously living on past glory. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Harrogate including steak houses. Don't waste your money here.

Although neither myself nor my husband are vegetarian we both love the food at Mango and feel that it is well worth the drive over to Wetherby from Leeds. The food is always delicious whatever you choose and, because it is made to order, can be tailored in terms of heat. A very enjoyable dining experience which feels quite intimate because of the size of the restaurant and the friendliness of the service.

Visited with a party of nine and was extremely impressed, The service was fast and the food was excellent - I had the Szechuan peppered steak salad, the pan-fried trout and the mango cheesecake, all of which came in perfectly-sized portions and presented beautifully. Will definitely be back.

Great selection of wines so anticipate a long evening of wine selection

Ultra friendly service & top-notch food. The meat just melted in my mouth and the portions were extremely generous. Fantastic menu, plenty to choose from for both food and drink. Staff were brilliant, even with my 2 yr old daughter. Had an amazing night and will definitely definitely be going back soon!!

After dining at this indian restaurant today with my husband I was very disappointed. As a keen vegetarian cook I was so looking forward to this dining experience after watching them on Gordon Ramsey. The popadoms didn't really taste of anything and was stale. The chickpeas that I had for my main meal were just average and left an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. My husband ordered the potato balti and the potatoes were raw! The rice wasn't cooked properly either. The only saving grace was that the corn roll starter was very pleasent. As for the service, the staff were pleasent enough, eventhough they told me to 'enjoy my starter' as they served me my main meal! There were no nice touches such as hot towels and after dinner chocolates and I just can't understand how this 'place' made the final on Gordon Ramsays 'best restaurant.' After driving from Warrington I will definately not be returning. We left them a £3 tip and I thought this was more than generous. I have visited far superior Indian restaurants and will not be returning to Prashad.

I am from Bolton, Lancs. I was visiting Bradford after an absence of six years. My friends in Shipley with whom I was staying brought me to Prashad for dinner. Well, it was more a banquet as there were so many different dishes! It was a banquet designed for the Gods! I had of coursed followed Prashad’s progress in Gordon Ramsay’s TV programme, so I was very pleased to be here. My friends described the different dishes to me. I had a Faluda, a drink which I can only describe as pure ambrosia, a drink of the Gods. We had papadums with four different pickles. Then it was off to Mumbai, to the sea-side, to try Bhel supreme and Pani puri. Next was South India to try delicious Utthapam, an Indian pizza and Idlis, rice dumplings both served with sambar, a lentil creation and coconut chutney. In Gujarat region, we tried black-eyed beans with puris. For dessert, I had kulfi, an Indian ice-cream. Then, it was time for a spicy, masala tea. All in all, it was a grand feast that transported me all over India. Bradford must be proud to have this wonderful little restaurant. While we were dining, Kaushy, the inspirational chef came round to speak to the diners. Kaushy, you are a gem.

I was wary about going to Medici after reading various bad reviews, but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. A beautiful setting, delicious food and helpful staff made our visit enjoyable. The food was reasonably priced, portion sizes were good and came piping hot as well as being well presented. Definitely a place I will visit again.

I'm Italian, I'm from Florence, and trust me, Diva is the best Italian restaurant that I've been in England, with an amazing atmosphere...nothing else, just the best.

The Red Kite has changed over the years and is now a pale shadow of its former self. I now find it difficult to pick anything I would like to eat from the menu, the food when it comes is never cooked to perfection, usually the meat is over done, and you can find it difficult to cut your chicken with the tired cutlery provided. Even the tasting platter has lost its edge. I was particularly disappointed with the piri piri sauce, so hot I couldn't eat it. With the under cooked hand cut chips, the token garden peas, the hard tomato, supposedly cooked, the meal was barely edible. I won't be going back!

great !! been a few times in groups of 3 to 25 service always good as is the food no problems coping with large group love the place
