absolutely fantastic food a excellent service recommend to anyone been on many occasions and always had good food and good company
Wok 1 Cantonese Restaurants – DoncasterWe have been tonight for the banquet/buffet menu and it was excellent. The food was fresh and all starters were cooked to order, rice and naan bread also cooked fresh for the main course which was replaced again with fresh dishes. The food was excellent, proper pilau rice, and just the right balance of spice and flavours, we will definitely be returning, one of Huddersfields best and we've tried a lot of them. Staff very polite and attentive and spotless inside. Not much more to say except try it :)
Saims Restaurant – HuddersfieldWe went to Prachee on Saturday night. This is one of our favourite Indian restaurants in the area. It has recently been renovated and it is lovely. They have extended onto the back of the building and updated the decor inside. There was a nice atmosphere in there and the food was as gorgeous as always! Price is good and staff are friendly. Definitely going back there soon!!
Prachee Indian Restaurant – GuiseleyI'm afraid to say this was the poorest burger I've had since I was burning my own on a camp fire down the river aged 8. Add this to surly waiting staff and you can only wonder how they've survived so long.
Damn Yankee – HarrogateWhat a excellent restaurant, food and service were excellent, you must try the meze to start with, you can choose your own combination and the main course the lamb was brilliantly cooked. Also try the early diner offer with 25% off between 5pm and 7pm
Saffron Restaurant – Hullsat 3rd jan 2009, after seeing a sign out side the raggalds saying, lunchtimes 2 course £7.95p and 3 course £9.95p we went in, but inside were told by the staff that sign out side was only for Sunday lunchtime, but it does not say that, we ordered 2 courses, soup, it tasted of water, no seasoning at all, then, chicken pie, with mash and trio of veg, what i got was not poss to eat, so sorry we will never eat there again, the bill was £29.25p, but we did get £10 off for complaining,
The Raggalds – Bradfordmediocre Italian restaurant. We dined there last month and after having read such rave reviews, we came away feeling a little disapointed......still searching for that perfect Italian restaurant in the Barnsley area
Mezzaluna Ristorante – BarnsleyDilraj is an excellent restaurant to visit. The food is well prepared and the staff are very attentive, it is a place to visit time and time again
The Original Dilraj – BarnsleyI went to this restaurant on Christmas eve. The atmosphere was okay. The waiting service was excellent! gentleman in black greeted us professionally and respectedly. We were offered drinks and made feel welcome. The drinks came in no time and we were offered pickles and popodoms. The same gentleman took our order and advised us about the food in a very professional manner, we were very pleased by then. The starters came fairly quickly even though they were buisy. The food was satisfactory but could have been better, the sundries i.e nan and rice was superb. We were not too happy about the way the food was served! the person serving the food did not seemed to have any knowledge and probably had language difficulties as he could not make out what we were trying to say. Over all a good place with average food but service needs to be looked at!
Bengal Brasserie – BrighouseThe food and service at this restaurant is brilliant! The price is also very reasonable I would recommend it to everyone. It has a very friendly, family atmosphere and would even be a good place for a romantic evening.
Sambuca – Doncasterhad a meal there unfortunately at the best it was micro food at the best shame really as it good be a good place to go.
Black Bull – WakefieldAbsolutely overrated- so 70s in style and presentation. the starters appeared to be frozen and came served with slices of bread and butter-bizarre. the food is expensive for pub food- £6 for a starter. The salad came with no dressing and cress and limp lettuce. Will not be going back.
Brown Horse Inn – HalifaxWonderful traditional home cooked food; meat & potato pie to die for and the chips better than mother makes!!! traditional ales weren't bad either!!!!!!!!! definitely worth more visits
Farmers Arms – Holmfirthvery nice been going there for ages now, really pleasant staff and food is amazing and nice
Rawal – BradfordThe best restaurant in Doncaster. One off the best blue steak I have ever had cooked to perfection. The staff very friendly Angela and Franseco the owners are outstanding would recommend to anyone. Have eaten there on several occasion even had a New Years Eve there fabulous. Michaela & Nigel
Opera Ristorante – DoncasterI recently tried to stay at the Scapehouse Inn but to my great disappointment they were no rooms available (it appears to be a pub not a inn with rooms). During my brief visit there were endless fireworks (not bonfire night) a very young clientele? who were drunk and swearing loudly in the bar area. The food was poor, and as a man who values his ale I would not recommend this to anyone I know.
Scape House Inn, The – HuddersfieldIt was a by far the worst meal we have ever had
Red Chilli – Leeds City CentreI went to this place (Bengal Brasserie) with my wife on Christmas eve. The atmosphere was okay but could have been better. The young man in black greeted us professionally and respectively. We were taken to the table and were offered drinks. we were mainly looked after this gentleman and the service was excellent. The starters were great and the food was okay but it could have been better. We were particularly not happy with the way our food got served! we were missing few things and the man bringing the food was not even aware. We prompted him 3 times and he brought them out with each prompt. Over all a good place with okay food but the servicing in general needs looking at!
