We visited on Wednesday night with 2 friends. I have to say that we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started with Pate, prawns, salmon and the cheese tart. Suffice to say we all cleared our plates. We then had 2 pork fillets and 2 bacon chops, all were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Afters were sticky toffee pudding and pavlova. Empty plates again. Covid wise we all felt very safe as everyone was socially distanced and we all had our temperature checked before we went into the restaurant. Very happy to be back!!!

Very tasty food and vast menu. The staff were excellent explaining about the various dishes and wine. The only drawback I have is that you are only allowed 1.5 hours for your meal instead of the usual 2 hours so did feel that we were rushed, which spoilt it somewhat.

A perfect experience. The waiters were very welcoming; Covid measures were in place; the food was delicious, as was the wine; the service was prompt but unhurried. It felt like the best of Italy.

My fiancé took me to Fat Loaf to celebrate my birthday and both of us didn’t know what to expect. It was a truly yummy meal! All of it tasty , well cooked and well presented. We will definitely go back!

Perfect meal and setting for a group of two and then a group of five . Welcomed and served by friendly and helpful staff . All meals were delicious - we had bread selection, meatballs , salmon and gnochi, Chicken and seafood risotto . Could not fault them in fact one of the best meals we’ve ever had . Will return . We ate inside both times but there’s a beautiful little outdoor area at the back with a couple of booths where we could’ve eaten . Will definitely return snd can’t recommend highly enough . Well done to Il Mulino .

Exciting to have this gem open locally. The authentic cooking, warm welcome and staff who clearly care make this place special. Come for the pizzas, the hand made pastas, the Sicilian antipasti treats and perfectly matched wines and draft beers. Oh, and always end with their incredible gelato. We plan to come for a platter and a drink asap - we'll see you soon!

Had a delicious full English breakfast. The eggs were poached to perfection and bacon and sausages lovely quality. Plenty of mushrooms. Quaint, friendly little cafe with great staff. A little pricey but it is Didsbury!

Went for lunch with a friend and it was lovely. Great service, amazing food and it wasn’t too busy either, perfect for starting to get back out there after the last year.

We booked a table for 2 but managed to up that to a 4 with no issues. The decor/atmosphere is lovely. The food is fantastic and the staff were very helpful and cheerful. We will be coming back. The menu is very large too! Plenty of choice.

Ive just read a review by someone really putting this place down and comparing it to Domino's . This food cannot be compared to a pizza chain ...i have eaten here several times and I have loved it The ambience is great and the staff are absolutely brilliant especially Eric and Gerry and a young man who I didn't get his name They are attentive and well informed. I would highly recommend this place My only disappointment on this last visit would be to say the feta parcels have gone extremely small Maybe due to cut backs ?,they are still tasty but I dont feel they were value for money there was three very small parcels and they cost just short of £6 ...I wouldn't buy them again and its a shame because they used to be so much different and seemed bigger ..like I said they taste nice but just value for money wasn't there maybe give 4 instead of three if they have reduced the size . I would return at the drop of a hat keep the good work up team I travel to get to eat at your restaurant when I have others similar on my doorstep so thats saying something

Fabulous new restaurant for New Mills. Extensive, authentic menu, great selection of drinks, and excellent service. Good use of space inside & out. Fantastic idea to use pasta as drinking straws ! Where can we buy some of that crockery as well ! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Well done to Nicky, Alessio & the team :)
