Food and service was amazing. We sat out the back in one of the new summer houses in the gorgeous garden . They were very accommodating and staff are very friendly. Be nice to see a few more veggie options but whatever I’ve had I’ve enjoyed We have visited here lots of times and also like their sister venue, Il Milino down the road

Not understanding why I haven’t been here more when it’s so close. Sorry guys The welcome, the service , the food and the house wine were spot on. I think you’ll be seeing more of me. Love the quirky decor it all adds to the experience.

Our first time “out” and overall we enjoyed it. The food was good but those who had a starter thought the prawns lacked flavour and were a little underwhelming, the portion size was small. Drinks were excellent. I personally didn’t feel comfortable as the bench we sat on was joined to the next table of diners and we were not socially distanced from them.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food and wine. ( octopus was especially fabulous). Staff were so friendly and attentive.

Excellent food and service. Attentive pleasant staff and generous portions of food. Very please to see the children’s food was properly prepared and made from scratch and not just oven cooked frozen nuggets. Would highly recommend.

It was my birthday meal out and our first time at Chakalaka we had a fab time. Everything was so relaxed food was delicious and the drinks fantastic. We cannot wait to go back again its a great spot with superb service

Fantastic food and drink when we visited for the first time yesterday. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

Can’t remember when I tasted better lamb rump even when I have done it myself and the desert was divine. All my friends were equally impressed. My friends had the prawns for starter and really enjoyed it . I didn’t have one and regretted it. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were great. Overall a great evening.

Had a lovely evening with a couple of friends,lovely friendly atmosphere great service & excellant food .The mixed grill went down a treat with the guys. Our second visit and our friends are now sold on the place. See you soon.

Visited with two friends and sat outside, lovely cold Italian beers. We only wanted something light so shared a platter with a couple of starters, all delicious. Very attentive staff. Will go back, want to try the pasta and a tiramisu!

Not been to The Fox for more than 10 years but had been recommended we pay it a visit my numerous friends. I like the new decor and the small bar area where you can wait for your table before eating or relax after your meal. The food was excellent and really well presented. Great service with just the right amount of time between courses, would highly recommend.

Food is delicious!! The menu is fairly small which I think is a good thing and there are some delicious and really authentic Italian dishes! Also an opportunity to try something a bit different! The staff are welcoming and friendly and generally this is a lovely place to go! Definitely recommend for those who want a genuine taste of Italy!!
