I would highly recommend Sweet Mandarin. It was the best Chinese I have had in a long time and my favourite was the Lilly Kwok's Chicken Curry. I thought it was great that Lilly turns out to be the Three Sisters' grandmother. My husband had the sizzling scallops - plenty, fat, delicious and a real treat. I had several of the Lotus cocktail - lychee vodka which was amazing. See you next time. Liz and Jeff

Excellent service and very friendly. The food is fantastic. I would go every night of the week if I could. My son is eight he loves it. He knows all the staff by name. I would recommend it to everyone.

I can't stress enough just how wonderful the menu is here. It is a bit more expensive than Rusholme, and the poppadoms aren't the best, but if ever I'm eating out, I head here. The menu is varied, unusual and everything I've ever had has been fabulous. I've been going regularly for nearly 4 years, and it's one of the best reasons to live in South Manchester.

This deli restaurant was certainly a genuine Mediterranean touch the centre of Manchester was missing. The quality and the authenticity of the products is extraordinary! If you haven't yet been there...don't waste any more time!

Better food than El Rincon -just. Ambience a bit too modern not as good an atmosphere as El Rincon. Better suited to small groups. Tapas menu restricted but very good quality. Wine on pricey side.

We go to Shahenshah every three weeks and rarely go anywhere else. The food and service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble if you want something a little different. We think it is one of the best restaurants along "Curry Mile".

This restaurant kicks ass its one of the best Italian restaurant's in Manchester. It offers all the usual Italian dishes plus it has an amazing specials menu that? just as huge as the main menu, you?l be spoiled for choice. Also very good for celeb spotting as its regulars include the Manchester united squad and corrie stars.

Discovered this place totally by accident. A bit trepid initially on seeing that we were the only ones that early Friday night. However, the food was absolutely outstanding and the service impeccable...the chef even came out to see if we were enjoying our food. It got busier later, which would have been nice atmosphere. Planning on visiting again this week.

Probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Great staff, . Great atmosphere and the "anniversary" events are not to be missed.

This is probably the best restaurant I've been too. The front of house staff were so friendly and not at all fake. The food was amazing and the setting along with a live jazz band was top notch. I couldn't recommend it more!

Fuzion is a real gem. I've had so many great nights out there, me and my friends just cant stop going back. Its so cheap and the food is excellent

The freshest sushimi ever, traditional but comfortable, seated at shared tables with napkins placed around your neck by the traditionally dressed waitress, samurai type chef, must have been lucky that night, fresh food cooked in front of you an a flat griddle, excellent, would go every week if could afford.

Decor little gloomy, food very authentic, beef buglee is a must, well worth the visit, make sure you eat the lettuce and meat the correct way-in little wraps, don? try to eat it like a kebab, I foolishly made this mistake.

This is the second time I have dined at this restaurant and it was as excellent an experience as the first time. By far the best Indian food I have ever tried and that includes the best that the 'curry mile' has to offer. The size of the dishes were perfectly proportioned. The selection of wines on offer is just the right level and very reasonably priced. The service was great even to the extent that the chef brought out the sizzling mixed starter. Highly recommended and I will be returning regularly.
