Brilliant little pub, best food we've had at a pub for a long time and great value for money!

This was the second time we have visited The Elephant Crossing. Both times the food was excellent , service brilliant nothing was to much trouble. If you are thinking of going you won’t be disappointed. Go for the view stay for the food.

Our local so we visit frequently seems to have a different vibe going on happier staff and quality of food especially the presentation I believe a new menu is coming which I'm sure will showcase the new head chefs talents

This was our 1st visit and the food and singer was brilliant. Everyone was welcoming, we really enjoyed our evening and will be returning.

Nice food however the absolutely , inappropriate music for the cliental dining that evening, ruined the evening. A waitress changed the music on our request. Management need to address this. I would not return.

We prebooked, offered a couple of tables. Service was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. Food was excellent.

lovely country side pub. we visited last week, tom the manager on arrival was very welcoming and attentive. gave us the option on where we would prefer to sit which is a nice touch. lots of options to choose from on the menu. we had a 16hour brisket and a naughty burger. would highly recommend the smoke house section! food was great, portions where very generous. will defiantly be returning in the near future

Unfortunately for us we sat, very close to the front door squeezed in, next to a very lively/loud table. The food was actually very good but this was not the special night we had hoped for.

Food was good when it eventually came. Last night was alot of pressure on staff due to poor planning and under estimating the influx of customers. Staff were under so much pressure that the bar man bringing our drinks spilt them on the tray, I proceeded to try and help and he was very abrupt with me in front of my family and other restaurant goers. Your staff need more support and training for shifts of pressure thankyou.

Really good food. Really good and friendly staff. Always attentive and chatty. Been local to the village for years, have seen many managers and owners. Happy to see the place back on its feet and excelling. Definitely recommend never let’s down.

Great food and service every time we've been, new chef is great and knows how to cook quality ingredients to get the best flavour . Highly recommended 10/10

Meal was excellent. Food hot. Service excellent and the best apple crumble I have had in a long time. Excellent value for money.
