The Malthouse – Telford2nd visit in 2 days. Still fab. Mushroom risotto was a bit gritty at times. Tasted like glass but suspect it was grit from mushrooms
The White Hart – IronbridgeStaff were terrific. Could clearly see a staff shortage, the manager explained about a 30 minute wait on food as they had just had a big table seated which we found fair as there was only 1 or 2 tables free. Food came after about 35 minutes and it was perfect. Beautiful beef and the veg was plentiful and cooked very nicely. Staff kept us topped up on drinks and we were well looked after. Will definitely return! Well worth a visit *****
The Bull – ShrewsburyWent here Thursday night, loved the menu so went back Friday. There's not much happening in Ironbridge in the evenings at this time of year but this place has atmosphere, good food, service, decor & staff. Do go.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWhilst visiting the local museums in iron bridge we came across this place and decided to have a meal there, well what can I say the food was excellent as too was the service.. would definitely recommend s visit to them…
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe had a lovely evening, very welcoming and the food was great.
Water Rat – IronbridgeLovely place, fantastic chips! Very competitive price for food. Not too long to wait. Quick and friendly service from staff. Definitely going again!
The Malthouse – TelfordAnother lovely meal at the Malthouse. I ordered pie which was a complete pie and not wedge as on menu but that was fine, the chips however were wedges not chips abd all placed on the plate and covered in gravy. Usually they come on the side with jug gravy, personally I don't like everything covered but it was sorted and rectified in good time. Food delicious. Very quiet as flooding kept people away so some background low music would have been nice.
The Malthouse – TelfordOnline booking was easy and our table was quiet and warm as requested. My wife and I both had the beef borguinion and some cheesy garlic bread, both of which were hot and really tasty. I had a belgian waffle for desert which was lovely. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly and approachable. Despite their beer delivery being cancelled due flood closures, they had a good range of ales, lagers and ciders, all served well and kept well. The band that were performing, The Audio Thieves, were excellent. We will definitely go again and would recommend the Malthouse to families or couples both young and old.
The Malthouse – TelfordExcellent food and service is brilliant. So glad it’s my local! And very welcoming of my dog. Fabulous place!
The Bull – ShrewsburyHad a lovely meal thank you. Service was excellent and friendly. The menu was just what we liked
Water Rat – IronbridgeFood was very tasty but the brisket was a little shy on portion size (and most expensive), everything else was spot on. Also they advertise ‘craft beer’ but all they have is a few commercial IPAs on draft rather than proper craft beers.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWow. One of the best roasts i have had. Beef cooked perfect. My partner had the pork and said it was beautiful. Service was really good and a lovely atmosphere. Will be back VERY soon.
The Bull – ShrewsburyHad a lovely meal. We went for seniors menu but no vegetarian dish on menu. I was allowed to have the roast veg tagliatelle which was lovely. Had the sticky toffee pudding and custard which was also really nice. Unlimited tea or coffee. Very quiet at lunch time
The Tayleur Arms – TelfordFood was excellent. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The temperature was quite cool in the restaurant so we ate with our coats on!
The Malthouse – TelfordFirst time for Sunday lunch and most definitely not the last. Amazing food and excellent value.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordQuite possibly the best Sunday roast I have ever had, every mouth full just fill over flavour
The White Hart – IronbridgeVery good food, attentive service at a competitive price. Nothing else like it in Wem, would recommend.
