Wonderful evening at The Butchers Kitchen. Great food, good atmosphere and great to see it so busy. Highly recommend
The Butchers Kitchen – TelfordNacho starter had hardly any toppings on it and was hard and stuck together, but the potato skin starter was very nice, kids pigs in blanket starter was just a sausage cut into 3 and put in a tin which was a bit weird..staff was very pleasant but the service was very slow even though it was not busy..was there a hour and only just had starters, which with kids can be bit long..mains was ok,well presented and not to bad but expected a little better for £100 bill ..
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFriendly and good service. We enjoyed our food and drinks.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBooked for just the 2 of us last minute, but they got us a table. had fantastic starters from the Tapas menu, and then onto the steaks...!! both absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, for me, just the right amount of chips on my plate. Pudding was a lemon merengue pie - awesome. The team there were so welcoming, and the atmosphere was just right. Looking forward to going again very soon.
The Butchers Kitchen – TelfordFirst time at this place and it didn’t disappoint great food and exceptional service. We had the pitmaster and oh my god such great flavours reminded me of the Deep South BBQs in USA. More importantly it’s really dog friendly though I didn’t bring my pooches this time I know for next. Keep up the great work
The Smokey Cow – TelfordGreat meal with friends in a Saturday night. Great service and the slow cooked beef rib was brilliant. Friendly waiting staff and great atmosphere
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordOrdered Mac and cheese burger and a chicken burger, on a Tuesday evening, establishment wasn’t busy. Macaroni cheese arrived and a chicken burger told the waiter that isn’t what I ordered he started to argue the point then realised his error, apologised said if we wanted to change it to the msc and cheese burger it would be a while it would be awhile as they were a lot of checks on Gave me some free of charge fries to compensate, not the same as a burger He asked did we need any sauces we said vinegar, he brought mayonnaise ! we won’t be back
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe food was delicious and my portions were a great size. We sat outside and it was lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe had a great meal and the staff were really friendly. It’s always such a beautiful location to eat at
Water Rat – IronbridgeA last minute Fathers days meal book. No hassle, easy to book. Lovely food, my son said best Macaroni cheese ever! The staff were really helpful. Excellent value for money for a family of four and all nicely full. Will definitely come again.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with family at the White Hart. We are frequent visitors for their evening menu, and the Sunday roast lived up to expectations. The food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and courteous. We look forward to visiting again soon.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBrilliant service. Staff were friendly and very attentive to our toddler. Made to feel very welcome. Excellent visit, thank you
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordAmazing food and brilliant staff. Just such a noisy room! Not a lot they can do about it but it has such an echo, couldn’t hear myself think! Would like to come back when it’s sunny so we can sit outside.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordGood food, awful service :- We booked for 2 online & arrived on time, waiting to be seated we were acknowledged by staff but then nothing. Another couple arrived & also waited, still nothing, then another couple arrived before a member of staff came to seat us, it seemed a very long time, the pub was very quiet & no staff were visible. We ordered 2 courses & drinks, the food was good & the service was slow but acceptable, until we had finished our main courses. Then the used plates were left on the table for 15 minutes with no staff in sight, finally I went in search of staff (found 3 standing together talking by bar) asked if they would clear the table & bring dessert menu. We had dessert and left. I would normally tip 10/20% of the bill depending on service, on this occasion I left nothing. I could understand if the place was busy, but it wasn’t !
Water Rat – IronbridgeAmazing tasty food, would have been an easy 5*'s if the service wasn't so poor. 45 minutes just to have our food order taken, a further 50 minute wait for food to be delivered. Wrong drink brought over. 2 items on the sharing tray had to be sent back as they were cold. Such a shame as otherwise this place would have been incredible.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe service was great. Staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was also nice. My husband enjoyed his mains. However, I thought mine was too salty, but that is always individual taste/.
Water Rat – IronbridgeLovely seating area in the upstairs restaurant - a lofty high ceiling, tables not too close together, a relaxed, calm atmosphere. Food - delicious flavour combinations and well presented. Good choice on menu. Staff - friendly and efficient. We'll be back ! Request - please bring back your taster menu evenings ... they were fab !
