We had dinner with our family while on holiday last night and it was superb. The staff were amazing and so lovely and helpful.

Perfect for a family meal with young children.

I thought the service, staff were very good. Staff were helpful and courtesy. The food was very good although the portion was quite small. I had a seabass which was very nice but as I ve said was quite small. My partner had beef bourganoiur which was very good and also a good portion.

Meal was not to the standard of the last Inn Newport which we have regularly visited. Mash potato from a packet.

Had a great night with family & food was lovely, mixed grill was cooked well and very tasty. Ran out of chips which was surprising but had fries instead. 8

Enjoyable family meal out. All had the steak & ale pie which was lovely! Service was good even though it was a busy night.

The food was average at best. I had the gammon that was very low quality and not well cooked. My partner had the curry with messy fries and they just came out like cheap looking oven chips with a small bit of sauce on top. And they also came out way after the meal itself did. The service was poor, they forgot our second round of drinks and the staff were not very experienced. They were polite and doing thier best but not well trained and also very casually dressed in hoodies and trainers. To be honest I’d heard good reviews and was expecting more.

The food was amazing, and the dessert presented like it was a Michelin star restaurant & tasted divine. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Great value for money and a great evening.

Lovely customer service by young lady called Millie,really helpful with husbands indecisive ways. He wasn’t disappointed with her recommendations. All Food came out hot and was really lovely. Great portions too. no complaints at all. We will be back. Thankyou

Really lovely food. We visited during a busy Sunday lunch time and the service was amazing, the young lady couldn’t do enough for us. Looking forward to a return visit

Enjoyed but food wasn’t as warm as it could have been

We regularly come for Sunday lunch. Staff are always fantastic, especially with my kids. We went for Sunday lunch,food was lovely. My husband's pork wasn't the best but everything else was fine. Staff regularly came to our table asking if everything was ok. Definitely will come back.

We live in Somerset but go home to visit family in Shropshire. Third time we've eaten at The Swan in Ironbridge. Always excellent food, great service and brilliant value for money. Will definitely visit there again.

Service was excellent, food not up to the standard it has been on previous visits. Food took a lot longer than usual, the waiter did keep checking if we needed drinks etc and gave us complimentary nuts while we waited. Not sure on what was happening yesterday but it was not at its usual standard? and as a result may not be returning.
