Lovely meal! Food was amazing and staff were really friendly and attentive! Couldn't fault and looking forward to returning!

Awsome food !! Only fault I have is the fries are not very nice and the chunky chips are not that great either. Probably just my personal preference but I stand by it. Everything else was just out of this world !

Excellent food and service as always. Very friendly staff. Loved being given the loyalty card. What a fab loyalty scheme it is.

We went on a Wednesday lunchtime. Spacious and pleasant environment. Food was very good - very tasty and well presented; reasonable value. We both had pies . One of us had the fish pie which came with crispy onion mashed potato - great. However, this particular pie was also topped with mash which we didn't realise until served - so a bit too much mash! The other pie was lamb - expected chunks of lamb but was actually minced lamb - still v tasty though. Lovely roasted veg medley. Great selection of gravies. Service was good The atmosphere was lacking as we were the only ones there - maybe because not much passing footfall (??)

Had such a lovely meal here the other night! The food was so good - the Smokey cow dog in particular was amazing, hot dog & Mac cheese, can’t think of a better combo!! This was the whole reason we booked a meal here in the first place and it didn’t disappoint! My partner had the tower of cow burger which he really enjoyed - the meat especially was full of flavour and the portions were massive! We both upgraded our fries to messy fries which was the best decision ever! When we come back, we’ll always upgrade our fries! I had the buffalo chicken fries which tasted so nice!! Something as simple as coleslaw on the plate tasted really lovely too! Love homemade coleslaw! The service was great, the lady made sure we were sorted for drinks and checked the food was all ok, really friendly. Overall, it was a really pleasant meal and so glad we picked here for my boyfriends birthday meal! Highly recommend and will be back soon! The only reason for the low rating on atmosphere was because it was quite quiet so don’t feel we can really comment on this but as it was a week night, we didn’t expect it to be busy in all fairness and it was still lovely to be able to choose where we sat and just have a good night the two of us. Thanks so much!

Excellent service, prompt and friendly. We were there on a Monday and it was quiet. Three of us shared the pitmaster which was more than enough and cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Nice little country pub

Came for Sunday Roast in the late afternoon. The food was delicious and the service was great, everyone was very friendly and the food came quick.

great sunday lunch, manager accomodated our wish to eat in the bar area which was covid and dog friendly, and the roast beef was superb - best sunday roast i've had in shropshire

Had a meal for my wifes birthday with friends, 12 in all, great food and good service, will definitely be going back.

Great location with friendly staff and excellent service. The menu and wine list provided real value for money. Worth a visit.

Visited on a Tuesday and the restaurant was very quiet. Choices on the menu smaller than online which was disappointing and prices had increased. Perhaps menu and pricing needs updating on website. Chicken burgers were just o.k. Plenty of chicken but very little flavour and virtually no Cajun mayo as advertised. Very nice place though but improvements needed!

We went for tea on Sunday and we all had a roast. It was absolutely beautiful and very quick service. We would recommend ans will be returning soon.

We had a lovely meal on Saturday! We both had steak which was lovely, as were the chips and good portions. We both thought the main menu was really good, lots to choose from. The only thing I thought there could of been more of was starter and dessert choices but other than that it was great. The pub was lovely inside and the lady that served us was really friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Have visited many times previously and always found the food and service to be excellent, unfortunately this time not so good. On arrival we were seated by the entrance door and it was freezing cold, we asked to be moved three times or if there was any chance the heating could be switched on as we were cold and noticed several people were also sitting with coats on. After a long wait no heating was switched on and eventually only after saying we were leaving we were reseated to another location away from the door, unfortunately though still cold and just took the dining experience down several notches. Great shame to provide negative feedback to what has otherwise been a good and memorable place to eat.
