We visited for Sunday lunch on 21st November I booked online the day before. Food was beautiful tasty and well presented great service too. Very impressed and would definitely return when in ironbridge.

Highly rated Sunday lunch. My guests were impressed as much as I was. Absolutely nothing To complain about. Perfect food, service and venue. None of this was unusual or out of the ordinary as this is what we get every time I visit.

Waited 2 hours for half of our tables food, to then find out the rest of the food order hadn’t been passed onto the kitchen even though we had asked staff to chase 3 times and were told “It will be with you shortly”. The few meals we did receive we Ok but not worth the wait, lasagne was burnt, chips were not very nice and scampi was sloppy! We appreciate it was a busy evening with the Ironbridge light switch on, but we booked table in advance and actually hour before the event started! Personally I feel the restaurant should prepared for larger than normal orders. Also if it was a technological fault with the device not passing info to the kitchen as one staff member said surely you should come Up with an alternative, even if old school pen and paper cause several orders were missed (as we had seen several families before us also leave because food hadn’t been served!) For a pre-booked meal we were also placed in a dark corner of the music room, very loud music not ideal for 2 small children (which was also made aware of prior to booking as we requested a high chair, which also wasn’t provided u til being asked several times!)

Absolute perfection! I’ve tried all of our local smokehouses, including Shrewsbury and towards Wolverhampton. This was by far the best!! From the first bite we were all blown away. All of the meats had their own individual marinades, or rubs and the portion sizes were plenty. We over ordered from previous experience with smokehouses, and had to ask to take some home. We arrived at 17:30, our starter order took 20mins to arrive, which is towards the top end of what I believe is acceptable, but the quality of the food more than justified the wait - best starters I’ve had in recent memory. Our mains took about the same time (20mins), but once again the quality was unreal and everything was hot. Honestly, we couldn’t fault them! We will definitely be going again this side of Xmas 5*****

We visited here for a birthday family meal. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food here and I must say the steak was cooked to perfection and was the best steak I have eaten to date anywhere! The atmosphere was brilliant and we all really enjoyed ourselves. We did visit on a Sunday and it did seem that they could have done with an extra member of staff however do not let this put you off, I merely mention it to make management aware. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend The Swan. Thank you all for a fantastic evening.

We all had a Lovely meal at the Smokey Cow ! Food was really nice and the staff were really friendly. The Smokey Cow Dog was amazing and i finished the lot. No fault and looking forward to returning again!

Ambience and drinks 100% Food whilst served promptly and was well cooked lacked a true smokehouse flavour More like a sauce poured over Ok ish but wouldn’t rush back

What a fantastic find! We had a brilliant meal here as we passed through on Sunday. A very quaint country pub with both quantity and quality and very friendly staff.

Best sunday lunch ive had in a long time

Beautiful fresh food. Staff were amazing. We had a drink spill on our little boys food and the meal was replaced free of charge. Staff were a tentative to our needs but didn’t hover either. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Our food was delicious and came quickly and was served really hot which makes a nice change from other restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful.

All six of us had the sunday roast we all said it was one of the best. Would definitely go back for more.

Having had a Craft & Jam voucher we decided to go to the Smokey Cow for Sunday lunch on 7th November. We were greeted by staff who were very pleasant and welcoming. The restuarant was very light with plenty of space between tables. For starters I had olives and hubby had brie wedges which were absolutely lovely. Mains were brisket of beef which melted in your mouth. Veges were cooked to perfection. We only had one dessert as I was full. I did have a spoonful to try and again it didn't disappoint. Compliments to the chef. Wines are a very reasonable price which was very pleasing. Thought the meal the waitresses were very attentive. Well done to you all and thank you for a lovely lunch. I certainly recommend you.

Incredible Sunday lunch. Mum said it was the best one she’s ever had, that’s she’s not had to cook herself. Really impressed with their handling of my food intolerances too.

A very quiet night at the Tilley Raven but the food we ordered was really good and generous helpings, good quick attentive service also
