The Malthouse – TelfordHad a really good meal and the service was 1st class . The six of us had three courses and everybody had no complaints. I Was surprised how big the pub was inside and the layout is really nice . Thanks all for looking after us.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe had a fab night last night at the Malthouse the food was absolutely amazing highly recommend
The Malthouse – TelfordFantastic food and good service. We booked a table for 12. My only criticism was that we were split across two tables and not informed until we arrived. It would have been better to all be on one table.
The Malthouse – TelfordLovely place use it oftern Food is always good, staff friendly and helpfull
The Malthouse – TelfordWe enjoyed a fabulous meal at the White Hart. The prawn & chorizo, plus salt & fire mackerel starters were good. The mains (pork belly and sea bream) were absolutely superb. Packed full of flavour which was balanced really well. The sea bream dish in particular was visually stunning too. We ended the meal with a popcorn panacotta which was again absolutely delicious. Service was great too very friendly and professional.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe’ve been here a few times and the food didn’t disappoint. Great value and really tasty. We had to wait for nearly 30 minutes to be served and the food took at least a further 40 minutes to be delivered. The server was very polite and offered us 20% discount for the delays which helped. I noticed they are advertising for new chef/staff so hopefully this will be sorted.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordBooked a table for 4 bank holiday Monday. Upon arrival were given a list of items that were not available. Ordered drinks, we were then told food order would take an hour to arrive. Not good for our 1st experience. We finished our drinks and walked to the Smoke House.
The Malthouse – TelfordBelow average Sunday lunch. Sat outside and had a drink before lunch ordered a couple of lattes one came out all over the saucer girl just put it down and didn’t offer any napkins or to sort it out, really set the mood. Ordered Sunday lunch told that the beef was served pink it was not, roast potatoes were shocking! Worst I have eaten out ever!! Gravy was like water no care and rubbish chef. Didn’t ask how our meal was, staff clearly disinterested. Then tried to charge us a 10% service charge. Also tiny portion on a massive plate wouldn’t of minded if it was quality.
The White Hart – IronbridgeSunday lunch was excellent. Pork was fab and what huge pigs in blankets. Piping hot and plenty of it. Will definitely be returning. Great food in s great village.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordPre booked using on line booking system which was straight forward. Got confirmation but follow up confirmation the day before we were due to dine didn’t contain content so possibly needs looking at to save confusion. Restaurant was well presented and welcoming and staff looked after us well Sunday menu was not too busy but varied and included traditional Sunday roasts. All food we ordered was well received. Wine selection good Good value and nice location, we look forward to going back
Water Rat – IronbridgeMy partner and I had a great evening at The White Hart, whilst visiting Ironbridge for a few days. The food was well presented, tasty and good value for money. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful. It was very quiet in the restaurant...just 2 other tables of 2 but this may have been because it was a Tuesday evening. We would definitely recommend The White Hart.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBeautiful, delicious food and lovely environment . I had the duck which was just perfect. My husband had the fish and chips and a cheesecake which was also really great. Welcoming, friendly staff. Highly recommend. We also stayed over in the Garden view room. Freshly redecorated it was an amazing room with views out towards the river. We'll definitely return.
Water Rat – IronbridgeFood was lovely, waitress was lovely. Would recommend
The Bull – ShrewsburyGreat food and friendly helpful staff.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe went for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! Staff were all lovely and friendly, food was amazing, and both our kids spent most the time at the park so we just chilled! Definitely going to be regulars here in the future, thank you!
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe had Sunday lunch and it was lovely. We were earlier getting there, and were seated straight away. The decor was lovely, but it was a bit hard to read the menu’s in the darker lighting. There were lots of choices and we were offered a drink straight away. When we received the food, it was a very generous portion and excellent quality. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was also right on the Main Street through ironbridge, very close to a car park. It also had it’s own car park to the side.
