This is a very busy pub - it's a live music venue and has a DJ on a Saturday night, which means that bouncers are necessary later in the evening. However, I organised a meal for 18 in the back room of their restaurant on Saturday 16th October and they couldn't have been more helpful. The waiting staff were friendly, efficient and very hard working - their microwave broke down later in the evening and caused a great deal of stress for them, but they dealt with it very charmingly and their barman was brilliant later in the evening, and helped get us three taxis and updated those of us waiting for the final one several times. We had a very good meal, which we pre-ordered as there were so many of us, and they coped with us fantastically well. Thank you so much to all of the staff - all very professional and much appreciated.

We visited the Swan on a Friday evening and had a fantastic time. Lovely ambience to the place, staff were efficient and friendly, lovely food with massive portions and entertainment on too! Well worth a visit….

Very meat based menu. Chicken burger was good but the quality of the patties for the beef burger was disappointing. Some veg or salad would have been nice.The seating was good and the atmosphere great. Staff very efficint and friendly.

The whole experience of dining at the White Hart was wonderful. The service was great from start to finish and the food was sensational! The Chefs really know their stuff here! A fabulous evening out and we will be sure to visit again!

We love this place , we've now been 3 times and have booked again for my 50th birthday in December . The staff are great , friendly , helpful .the food is also out standing ,always hard to decide what to have .

A hidden gem, after receiving a gift voucher for my birthday we finally got round to using it. I am so grateful to receive this voucher as I probably wouldn’t have ever tried this place. The food was outstanding as well as the service. Definitely will be back and have already recommended it to others

I had the Cauliflower Cheese and Blue Cheese chips and it was really lovely!!! Not tried Shropshire Blue cheese before and was very pleasantly surprised and portions were plenty big enough!!!

Small portions of what was left off the limited (no stock) menu choice. Quite disappointing really.

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon (late Sunday lunch) and we had a lovely meal. We ordered the beef and pork Sunday roasts and the portions were HUGE! Plenty of meat, loads of nicely cooked veg, roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The only thing I’d criticise about the food, is that the roast potatoes were VERY hard on the outside. We did need the steak knives to cut through. On the inside they were lovely and fluffy but was scared of chipping a tooth! We sat outside and therefore had to pay at the bar up front, which is fine. Staff were lovely, but, it seems if you’re sat outside you are forgotten about slightly as in we weren’t offered to order any desserts or coffee etc. Even if we had to order and pay at the bar. Probably because we were sat outside but would be nice to have had that attention you’d expect whether inside or outside the pub! Overall good experience and will be returning.

Had a wonderful afternoon at the Malthouse, 5 diners, 4 had Sunday Road and 1 had a meal of the main menu, the food was excellent and staff very friendly, highly recommend visiting

Cannot fault this place. Amazing service, felt very well looked after and the food was amazing. I highly recommend The Bull. You’d be mad not to try it! Best food we’ve had out for ages! Definitely make this my local! I live in Longdon-on-Tern. Was just lovely !

Out for our sons and his girlfriends 18ths. Lovely round table to comfortably sit around. Shared some small plates (fab meatballs). Two perfect Sirloins, tasty tagliatelle and delicious duck. Really enjoyed the Australian Pinot Noir too plus a couple of sticky toffee puddings and espresso Martinis for dessert. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere too,

Very poor service and food not good. Ordered a steak cooked medium to well and when it came it was dry and burnt, would not recommend.

Visited on a Saturday night. Food and service all very good and the pub looks much nicer after the refurb. Will definitely visit again.
