Went to Harbours lights on Christmas Day and found it so good that I have been back three times since. Staff are lovely, atmosphere great and best of all the food is absolutely amazing. I am 72 and had never been out for lunch on Christmas Day. Now my days of cooking lunch for the family are over. I have also been back for lunch and also breakfast and on each occasion the staff have been lovely and the food great. My new favourite place to eat.

Lovely welcome as you come into the pub. Love the variety of the menu including old fashioned desserts Through the week or Sunday lunch never disappoints and leave with a full belly. Recommend booking definitely on a Sunday as a very popular venue with stunning views. 10/10 till the next time

Great food good price great service

8 of us went to the Harbour Lights on Sunday afternoon for a special birthday meal. We had 3 roast chicken, 2 featherblade beef, and 1 pork, plus burgers for the 2 grandkids. The food was absolutely delicious with a great selection of fresh veg (plus giant Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese of course). We were all stuffed, yet somehow made room for toffee apple crumble, sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. We had a late booking at 3.30, but despite this, everything was cooked and served to perfection. Staff were brilliant and great with the kids too! Highly recommended, Many thanks, John

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch, absolutely beautiful, meal was nice and hot ,service was excellent as usual. Best place in South Shields.

First time visited and really enjoyed my night with friends & family. Place is lovey with great staff and fantastic food! Definitely will go again and highly recommend!

Took my friend for Sunday lunch, she was visiting from overseas. We both had Sunday lunch, I had turkey and my friend had beef. Both meals were delicious. Staff were friendly to both of us. Location was great and so was the view. I live in Hartlepool and I’d definitely make the journey back for more. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know

Eat at this establishment on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. Quality of food is excellent and price is very competitive. Staff are very friendly and competent

Warm welcome, good service and food was great as always. Fab value for money. The fish and chips were huge. £120 for 4 adult meals 2 kids meals 5 pints 1 Lemonade and 2 fruit shoots. Staff are lovely and always pay attention to the kids

Lovely pub, excellent location, a delight to visit after a seafront walk. Atmosphere warm and welcoming with super friendly and efficient staff. Food always perfect.

Fish and chips was amazing. Huge portion size. Very friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.
