I have had the pleasure of eating at the Victoria Inn several times and have had a different meal each time. I have not been disappointed. The meals are a good portion and leave just enough room for a pudding.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat choice on the menu and specials board. All food was tasty - especially the chicken pie. Nice atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Customer service was also great - I left my daughters jacket and they rang me straight away to let me know. Will definitely be returning when we are back in the area.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad a lovely meal never had a bad meal yet at the Victoria inn, definitely recommend this beautiful pub by a stream. And friendly staff.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad Sunday lunch here yesterday, the food was superb, again! Never fails to be honest….
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFood was beautiful as always and the mains came out super fast which was excellent, but the service overall could be improved. We ordered desserts and after waiting a long time we had to chase them up at the bar (same as last time we visited). Also nobody came to clear the plates away before the desserts arrived and we asked for an extra spoon to be brought over which never arrived.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthService is excellent, it was easy to get served and the food came fast. Food was top quality and we had a lovely time in a beautiful environment Thank you.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthNice food and location
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFabulous location and great food!!!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthVisited The Victoria Inn whilst on holiday in Harlech. Disappointed that there was no starters available to order, and very little choice of desserts which were all bought in and heated in a microwave.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthLovely pub, great food, gorgeous garden. It was much better food than a different Robinson’s pub we’d been to a couple of days prior. Food did take a while to come out and it wasn’t too busy but I take that as a good sign! As a family of 4 with one allergy requirement there were lots of great options for all. Overall I’d definitely recommend!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent food and surroundings.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad a lovely meal, goid service, friendly staff
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe visited for the first time on 4th August. The food was delicious, especially the chips, and reasonably priced. However, we did have to wait 50 minutes for it to arrive. We had booked at the busiest time but the wait time was excessive.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthBooked for tea, food was perfect, burgers were Bob on,child's pasta went down a treat. Great service and hot food delivered in good time. Well done team
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe recently ate at The Victoria with another couple. The menu choices were good. We actually chose from the specials menu and were not disappointed. The puddings were just as good. The service was a bit slow, but they were very busy so could be forgiven. The wine was excellent and apparently the beer was too! When the bill came we were impressed with how reasonable our meal was. Two courses and two rounds of drinks for four people was less than £100. My only point of criticism would be that the bar was understaffed. One person on duty taking food orders and serving drinks was not enough. Resulting in one unfriendly barman who might have been less grumpy if he’d had some help.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthVisited the Captains Table on the 24th of July this year, and couldn’t have been more disappointed with the food. Staff where very welcoming and very accommodating, but each of our dishes were ultimately disappointing - our starters couldn’t have been further from what we expected. Duck on flatbread was £6.00 and I received one shop bought square flat bread with a small amount of duck scattered across the flatbread, and there being a copious amount of salad put on my plate. Chicken pate was good but only was served with 1 piece of toast without any crust, and yet again a copious amount of salad. It’s apparent that this restaurant fills your plate with vegetables/pre packed salad in order to fill your plate. I also order a 10oz steak worth £22.00 and upon receiving it, it was apparent that it was not a 10oz steak - I had also been given a ridiculous amount of salad with my dish again. In addition to this I had also ordered, lamb shank and mash which was around £15.00; the lamb shank that was presented was very disappointing, and not only did I get a very sparse serving of lumpy microwaved mash but I revived a copious amount of vegetables with my dish again. I also bought a lasagna which upon presentation looked delicious, but it became apparent as the dish was being eaten that the cheese was becoming increasingly difficult to swallow as there was so much of it and I also believed it was pre-packed. To add to this, I also purchased white bait as a side order and was appalled by the number of fish in which were served - 6 white bait served on a plate for £6.00, which suggest I’m paying £1.00 per white bait, which is quite frankly appalling. I have no discrimination against pre-packed food but I believe when the bill amounted to almost £100 that I should be getting my money worth - fresh and non shop bought products microwaved mash, and processed cheese was not my expectations of the restaurant at all, I would not recommend the captains table as your will most definitely not be getting your moneys worth.
The Captains Table – BarmouthWe were recommended here for a Sunday roast while we were on holiday. We ordered at bar and waited our roasts came with missing potatoes and not sure if we were meant to get Yorkshire puddings too but we didn't I was going to mention this as the said the beans to children's meals will be out in a moment we waited a while and no one came back over. So I went to the bar and let them no we had missing items about 5 minutes later the beans came out no potatoes. By this point we had finished our roasts so no point in getting the missing items my children had already finished their meals too . The roasts them selves were lovely but small for the price but that's probably because we were missing items. Children's meals were expensive.
