Reserved a table for an evening meal after a friends recommendation. Table ready on arrival. We both ordered the Anglesey Burger and we weren’t disappointed. An Excellent burger!

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFood was excellent, there were 7 of us for dinner with no complaints from any of us. The food was hot, cooked to perfection. Lovely helpful staff
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamTwo of us enjoyed a pleasant lunch on a quiet Monday in March. The Three Tuns is located in the centre of this charming small town and the interior is very atmospheric and comfortable. It took about 40 minutes to get our food - a tad long, but this is often the case in our experience when a pub or restaurant is really quiet. It was not a problem for us on this visit and the food was fine once it arrived. Overall, this was a good place for us and we would return.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeMyself, my dad and husband attended on Sunday 19th March for the first time and it was lovely. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere was great as it wasn’t too busy, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The prices were fantastic too as a plus! We decided we’ll definitely be back!
Royal Oak – WrexhamMe my partner and two children visited on Sunday 12th march, me and my partner both had the Sunday roast, my partner had beef and lamb and I had the chicken and it was the nicest Sunday lunch we have ever had out. I do regret not having the beef and it was cooked to perfection, my chicken was lovely it fell off the bone. My son had kids chicken nuggets and chips and it looked lovely he said it was very nice. We was on a weekend break in Barmouth and every time we are in the area we always make a visit to the Victoria inn. We are never disappointed it’s always amazing and we enjoy it every time, we also had desserts and again they was amazing. We will be back soon when we are back that way. Thank you
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthLovely family meal, great food was excellent, and good value too,
Royal Oak – WrexhamWe enjoyed a good meal at the Royal Oak on Saturday night. The steaks were cooked perfectly as requested and my Hake was delicious as a sort of stew with peppers and potatoes- steaming hot and freshly cooked . The service was courteous , friendly and attentive. I only wish more diners had been there to enjoy a similar experience in tasteful cosy surroundings. Thank you.
Royal Oak – WrexhamMy husband and myself had a very nice lunch here on Thursday 2/3/23. We were on holiday for a week and passed The Victoria on several occasions and decided to give it a try - pleased we did as we were very happy with our lunch. Thanks
The Victoria Inn – Barmouth6 adults plus pooch enjoyed a really tasty Friday night meal in this friendly pub with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Just felt a little hemmed in on the wall side of the table, but a minor point really. Will certainly be back
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat food, incredible value and wonderful staff! Recommended.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamPleasant staff and lovely surroundings. Food was ok but nothing special. The batter around the fish wasn’t fully cooked and my sons steak was fairly fatty.
Royal Oak – WrexhamSpent a lovely evening with family last Saturday evening at the Holt Lodge. Even though we were the only ones there (what a shame) we enjoyed it immensely. The service by Emily was superb, what a lovely young girl she is , so helpful and polite. We all (five of us) enjoyed our meals, from starters to desserts, well, just me for dessert actually. Holt Lodge is a beautiful hotel where we visit quite often. We also spent New Year there and had an amazing time.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamLovely ambience and wonderful staff. The food was delicious. Highly recommended when in Hay-on-Wye.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeLovely pasta, tasty and great service, A little squashed where we sat but otherwise super and friendly.. would return and recommend.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeThe Three Tuns put on a lovely family Christmas lunch for seven. Beautifully laid table, delicious food with huge portions, very friendly and attentive service. We didn't feel at all rushed and really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeLovely Saturday lunch for 7. Staff were great, food lovely and they went above and beyond for our dog by producing a bed!
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeThe pub was very busy as it was the Hay Festival Winter Weekend but the service and atmosphere were both good. Three out of our 4 main courses were very good but the Tuscan beef brisket was extremely tough and inedible. The waiter changed the dish immediately for a very nice platter of Hay charcuterie.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeMy husband has the burger on every visit! It never disappoints. Friendly, polite staff.
