We had a delicious family meal at Y Sgwar on Tuesday 19th February. Very welcoming atmosphere. On arrival we were escorted to our table promptly. And provided with menu’s, together with our drinks order taken. Both the food and drink menus provide plenty of variety and choice to suit all. We had two course each, a starter and main, the portions were just right, pleasantly presented, in itself a work of art. Each bite full of flavour that certainly tantalised the tastebuds. The service was excellent, attentive, but not intrusive. The staff very efficient, providing a relaxed dining experience. Certainly recommend, a little jewel in the Tremadog crown, we’ll definitely be back, again and again!

Lovely Sunday Roast dinner, good service and staff were good with my various allergies. Great portion sizes for hungry kids :)

The food was excellent. Very short waiting time between ordering the meal and it arriving. The staff were attentive and friendly and the prices very reasonable. My go-to place for a Sunday roast.

A splendid meal in a very busy restaurant. Service is competent and polite and the food is good (tbh, there's a tendency to cook the meat a big more tha n I'd like, but they clearly know their customers. Decent wine list. Overall, we had a lovely evening, and we'll be back soon.

As always the food was amazing. The seafood platter for 2 was excellent as was the Filet Steak. The service was excellent too. The restaurant was full which tells you everything you need to know.

Had a lovely meal on Valentines night, fantastic staff, awesome food, highly recommend. Have been a few times now and always brilliant.

We booked a table - we were shown an area on the pub part. When asked if there was a quieter area we were shown the dining room. This was so much nicer. Staff all super pleasant. Food was ok… very reasonable. Enjoyable evening.

My husband, and our dog went in for dinner in Friday night. As usual there was a huge smile to greet us from Jason, does he ever stop smiling! Every pub/restaurant should have a Jason. Liv served out food and must be taking lessons from Jason because she also has a beautiful smile. They always make us and our dog feel so relaxed and welcom, and let's not forget the chef, who we never see, but enjoy his food always. So to everyone at the Bridge End, keep doing what you are doing, because the customers are loving the fantastic attentive service and relaxed and happy atmosphere that you have created and the food is the best in Llangollen. We will, of course, be back.

Sunday lunch definitely recommended here- we’ve been a few times now and it’s always a good selection well cooked food, in a nice relaxed atmosphere served by efficient and friendly staff and at a very reasonable price.
