Dined off lunch menu. Good excellent as always. Refurbished restaurant wonderful and different. Staff working under refurbishment difficulties but managing fine. Looking forward to the finished bar/lounge area and new toilets. All very tastefully done.

We had Sunday lunch at Wrexham Hotel in the restaurant room’s temporary home last weekend. I don’t think the carvery was quite as tasty as usual (roast potatoes hardly roasted at all and were very pale) but as renovations are in full flow I can forgive on this occasion. Can’t wait to see the new bar renovations when completed.

My husband and I had a really lovely beef dinner with perfectly cooked vegetables. It was all perfect with generous portions. We had our german shepherd dog with us and we were given a choice of great sitting. We woukd highly recommend it.

We had steak which tho tasted good was overpriced for what we had. Also had hotch potch bubble & squeek which was underseasoned and too much meat, the bubble & squeek itself was more like mashed potato and not sealed like it should be.good sized portion but undercooked veg on the side

Service was okay at the table but lacking at the bar, most likely due to it being a busy Friday night. We weren't told we had to order at the bar, so we were left hanging for a while until we realized. But the food was delivered quickly and efficiently. When it did arrive, the chips were so good, but Sole was a little like freezer fish. Eating the scampi and chips from a basket was also odd, but you do get a plate, so I did decant my scampi and chips. Overall, I would give it another go, maybe on a quiet night, and wouldn't order the sole again.

First time visiting Conwy and noticed quite good customer reviews on this restaurant, hence gave it a try for lunch. Overall really good dining experience. Food, service and atmosphere all value for money. Highly recommended.

We had the Sunday brunch and it was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the service was outstanding. A nice bonus was the roaring fire that added a cozy ambiance to the restaurant.

We visit the area regularly so I don't know how we've missed this place up until now. The waitresses were an absolute credit to themselves and the restaurant. Food was perfect and beautifully presented too. Prices very reasonable for the quality.
