My wife had the scallops for her starter and the duck for her main. She enjoyed her meal immensely. I had the chicken liver pate and the ribeye steak with the extra Stilton sauce. The pate was delicious. The steak was as expected, cooked perfectly and flavoursome. The sauce, unfortunately was congealed and tasteless. The chips soggy, which was a shame. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, I shall, if we visit again will avoid the extra sauce and hopefully the chips I received were a one off. We really wanted to tip the staff for their service but as we had no cash on us….who does these days….we couldn’t as the payment machine hasn’t the ability to allow this.

I recently went for my first meal at Telfords along with my husband and two other local business owners, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our different meal choices. The staff were friendly and polite and the service was good, the choice of drinks was also good and we thought it was value for money. As it was quite busy, it was fairly noisy, so next time I think we will choose a different place to sit.

The best sunday roast I have ever eaten! It was delicious! Great service, great atmosphere. Already booked to return for the A La carte menu!

We went yesterday for Sunday lunch - £10 Sunday lunch, A choice of chicken, beef, pork, sausages and lamb (I think if I remember correctly? Don't quote me!) we paid £12.50 for the choice of two meats - we had chicken and beef. A giant Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, carrot and turnip/swede, mash potato, roast potato, gravy and stuffing. We also paid £4.50 extra for the cauliflower cheese which was enough for us all. We really enjoyed the meal, the service was great. The pub/restaurant was quiet but there were a few tables having a Sunday lunch and the service was still spot on, very friendly and attentive. There is a 10% service charge in place on the bill, this is for staff and not management, but you can ask to remove this service charge and if you like you can leave your own tip, the choice is yours - it's not mandatory! We would definitely go there for another Sunday lunch and would recommend too, at £10 you can't go wrong! My daughter spotted the specials board showing £6 quarter pounder and fries from Weds to Fri - think she'll be wanting us to go there soon!

Booked table for 5 on Wednesday lunch time, the restaurant/pub was quite quiet. The service was very good indeed, prompt and friendly. Food excellent.

We had a £10 Sunday lunch 2 lovely slices of beef, roast potatoes mash, broccli, carrott and swede mash. We paid an extra £4.50 and shared a cauliflower cheese. Food was excellent. A number of people in the pub were just drinking tap water....Come on help businesses stay alive and purchase a drink. Had white chocolate cheese cake for pudding....Amazing.

We booked an afternoon tea here via a voucher website, we were treated excellently, we asked to upgrade our experience with a glass of prosecoo (which we had to pay extra for) however we had expected this. The place is under going a refurbishment and you can see how great it is coming along. We were sat in the restaurant which wasn't overly busy and the team made us feel very welcome. The food itself was excellent (only cristiscm is no cucumber in the tuna sandwiches) but apart from that is was excellent value, we even took some cake home!

Really enjoyed the restaurant, great food, lovely staff. Really sad to hear that staff do not receive any share of the tips unless paid in cash. We didn’t have cash so felt really bad…

Visited The Bridge Hotel, Llangollen, on a number of occasions during our 6 day holiday. Drank decent beer and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Our group of 5 ate once at The Bridge Hotel and although one of the food orders was incorrect they made up for it with a complimentary dessert. Jason, the manager, and his team were attentive and receptive to our needs. Would recommend a visit.

Excellent food. Lovely service by Tom- had a laugh. Good parking. Clean toilets. One of our local favourites to eat at.

Really disappointing. Lovely menu but very poor cooking. The chowder was far too thin, looking like milk. Never seen anything like it called clam chowder. Scallops overdone but it didn't really matter as the very strong sauce killed any flavour. The sauce would have perfect with a steak. Turbot and sword fish were completely overcooked. The swordfish fish was missing a sauce. Done to death comes to mind. A pannacotta that collapsed on contact with a spoon. Chips were ok and the crumble too. Calamari was good and so were the mussels. Staff were very busy doing something else and spent a lot of time on the computer. Nothing to recommend it but it was clean and bright. Oh, the wine was good. Looking at other positive reviews, maybe the usual chef and staff were absent at lunchtime. We were extremely disappointed.

Service very pleasant. Knowledge of wine not great but server was very young. Delicious food throughout, from the mussels and calamari to the pannacotta. Portion size good. Decent value for money. Only gripe, it is over bright which gives it a rather sterile, clinical feel. Lower lights please.

Warm and welcoming. Gorgeous food. Lovely attentive staff.
