We booked the restaurant for a Sunday lunch. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the food was excellent as was the service. The restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere. The bill was not to scary at all, great value for money. Would highly recommend. Many thanks.

My wife and I visited on Saturday night, the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent The mussels starter is delicious and more like main than a starter I had the hake with lobster bisque which was Devine , my wife had the cod with a curry sauce , it was equally delicious with loads of big prawns With a lovely bottle of ‘bone dry’ wine this was a wonderful evening Oh and the wood burner as you come in is lovely and warm and great to sit by while we waited for our lift home

Another fabulous meal at Telfords. From the atmosphere, to the staff then in to the food ut was, as ever, outstanding. Thank you.

The staff were very polite and helpful, service could have been quicker. It was fairly quiet so I don’t know how the service would be if busy. The meal was very good with a good selection of meat and vegetables. The biggest disappointment was the price of drinks. We had a small glass of rose wine and half a Wrexham lager, and it was £16.11.

Everything was superb we all really enjoyed it all, very good value as well. Made a family celebration extra special, thankyou!

We had a lovely evening. A great table at the front of the restaurant in the window. The Manager was extremely welcoming and soon had a bottle of champagne on our table. We all enjoyed shellfish to start followed by the John Dory which was beautifully cooked and well presented. Couldn’t fault the evening at all.

Great food and service.

My wife and I had an evening meal, we arrived a little earlier than booked but that wasn’t a problem at all. We were shown to our table and proceeded to order our food. I had rib eye steak, which was delicious with a side of haloumi fries & my wife had a burger. Both meals were lovely & very filling, service was excellent and staff were very welcoming. We will certainly call in again

We love coming to Y Sgwar when we visit Porthmadog. The service is friendly, there is a nice ambiance inside and the food is excellent. The flavour in the bruschetta starter was amazing, and the crispy skin on the bass, along with the lovely sauce was excellent. The early bird menu is good value and has good choice. We hope this restaurant retains its friendliness and high quality for a long time.

This Restaurant is lovely, this is my Special place! I’ve never had a bad Meal here ever.. Last night was Beautiful the food is of the best Standard. The Staff are So lovely, helpful and Polite. If you haven’t been here Add it to a bucket list it’s Lovely. I will Definitely be there again in the future! Thank you

Another brilliant Sunday lunch can wait to return good value

Dined off lunch menu. Good excellent as always. Refurbished restaurant wonderful and different. Staff working under refurbishment difficulties but managing fine. Looking forward to the finished bar/lounge area and new toilets. All very tastefully done.

First visit to Telford Bistro and was very glad we did food was exalent and perfectly cooked Service was very good and the girls new what they where doing Will definitely be visiting again in the future definitely recommend this restaurant
