Fantastic!

Excellent Sunday lunch here. A cosy pretty restaurant with attentive lovely staff and the food was top notch.

We had an excellent evening here on Valentines evening! it was a busy restaurant but it didn't feel crowded at our table. Both service and food were excellent. We will definitely return. Thanks to all - not forgetting the chef!

Outstanding food, steak was cooked to perfection. A very good selection of wines. Great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and professional. Thank you for a great night out.

Fabulous food as always.

French onion soup was probably the best soup we'd ever had. Belly pork was also superb. Who are we? 4 old foodies who eat out often, nationwide.

We had a carvery meal what lovely food we had. 2 meat choices plenty of freshly cooked vegetables very crispy not soft and soggy like other places Friendly greeting as soon as we walked in very clean pub as well. The staff asked if the food was ok and it was definitely recommend and we will go back

Went for Sunday lunch, as usual the food and service were great. The Beef melted in the mouth and the selection of vegetables was good and well cooked.

Visiting Portmadog for my birthday weekend my wife and I were looking for a suitable venue for a lovely meal, and wow did we find it. The welcome was warm, the service outstanding and the food was excellant, the flat garlic bread was fabulous, the lamb melted in the mouth and the pudding the Bakewell with custurd delicious. In the area and looking for some fine dining then give Y Sgwar a go and I am certain you'll not be disapointed. When we are back in Portmadog we will return. Thank you for a wonderful evening of fabulous food and service!

Last evening we had a fabulous meal, service great and lovely atmosphere. The food was second to none and we will definitely be back!

We always love our visits to the Vic. Even in the depths of Winter there’s a welcoming fire in the hearth and good Beer and good Food. Likewise we visit the George quite often. A very different venue but equally as welcoming. Well done all of the Robinsons Team.

We ate at lunchtime. It wasn’t very busy - only about 4 tables of people eating. The pub was lovely and warm. Our first course of shared Nachos was stale. This was apologetically replaced by nice crunchy fresh nachos. Apparently the staff opened a new bag. Main course of hallumi and hummus ciabatta was quite dry - more hummus would have been nice. My friends Pulled Pork bap was fine. Staff were helpful and polite, but not the best meal I’ve had in Llangollen.
