I visit the Plough once a month (and sometimes more) for our little book club which has been going for around 7 years. We normally sit in the bar side and it’s always so lovely with a nice selection of drinks. At least once a year we will have a meal as a group, this time we did so for one of our birthdays. As always the staff were super accommodating, and looked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was really good, and I had the Black Forest fudge cake…wow! It was so good.

Many years since last we visited but celebrated my 90th birthday by having a meal there last night. Excellent service with excellent choice of menu to chose from for myself and 4 other family nembers. Will definitely pay another visit

Monday lunchtime, so fairly quiet. Service was attentive and waitress smiling and helpful. Large and small fish and chips were enjoyed by all. We’ll be back - they are trying hard to provide entertainment, events etc.

This was our 3rd visit to Panama Hatty’s and just like the previous times the meal, service, friendly efficient staff etc was first class.

We were a group of three who enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and was piping hot when brought to the table. Booking on line was easy, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. We will be back

This is our go to Restaurant for Sunday lunch. The staff are professional and friendly and extremely helpful. The food is consistently of a very high standard. Lovely setting with traditional tables clothes and excellent service.

Always enjoyed coming to the Plough but was dissapointed with the change made to the Steak n Ale which now contains mushrooms and onions of which there was alot more of than actual meat in the slice I received. Please ho back to the old recipe. Also some of the meals where only just warm. Hopefully this was just a one off.

The food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff were polite and attentive. We had a lovely afternoon.

Lovely service and kindly made room for our party of four to increase to six. Saturday night and extremely busy. Always a very enjoyable venue.

Good, friendly, neighbourhood restaurant. Great value for money, plenty choices, good cooking, obviously popular with local people.

I had a very nice prawn pil-pil starter and chicken fajitas as my main, however I would've ordered the burritos if I had known I'd have to assemble them myself (I'm autistic and this was too overwhelming, but I managed).

We all had a really excellent night I would highly recommend it .

What an enjoyable evening for so many reasons. Firstly, the welcome and attentiveness from all the staff was lovely. The place looks so gorgeous and the wine I picked out from a nice selection was delicious: a Chardonnay Sauvignon. We assembled a charcuterie board from the range of cheeses and meats on offer; no matter that some were not available as very fine suggestions of alternatives were made. It looked and tasted amazing. Really high quality. It was midweek, unusual for me to go out then, and Charcutia had many empty tables, possibly because of the hot weather and there being no outside seating. A shame for them it was so quiet as it is such a good addition to Holmes Chapel. However, this suited us as it was not noisy and we were able to chat. I’d definitely recommend.

My wife and I had afternoon tea on May 27th this year. It was our third visit. The food, drink and service were as good as ever. Also, we had a Groupon deal so value for money is not in question. Sadly following a change of ownership of the property, the venue for afternoon tea is no longer the intimate panelled tearoom but a somewhat soulless (if spacious) function room. I think we'd come for lunch, maybe even stay but afternoon tea needs to feel more special than this.
