We love Birchwood Spice and often take guests. The food is consistently hot and tasty and there's a great choice. The staff are always very friendly.

A really delicious lunch at the Egerton Arms with two longstanding friends. The venison ragu with pasta followed by pear and salted caramel crumble were an excellent choice and served by our helpful waiter in good time. It was good value for money and the portions were just right for each of us. I'd definitely be happy to choose these next time. We had a very comfortable and peaceful setting for our catch-up. Thank you to all the staff.

Not much choice as I’m dairy and gluten free tho they did have an allergy book. Ended up with the only food I could eat gammon steak chips etc which I’ve got to say was very good and well cooked. And I was able to have soya caramel ice cream too.

I really enjoyed the recent meal the Malpas Diner's Club had at The Egerton Arms. All the feedback I received from my fellow diners was very favourable. Thank you for providing good food and serving it to 15 members in a timely and proficient manner.

Lovely Sunday roast dinner served with an excellent selection of fresh vegetables. Service was very good and staff were welcoming and friendly. Good atmosphere with music playing softly in the background. Great value for money.

It's been quite a long time since we've gone for a Sunday roast as a family. However, yesterday was a special sentimental occasion and on recommendation of a work colleague: we went to The Yeoman. We were not disappointed! The lamb was so tender and the gravy was superb. Desserts were excellent (including the kids' choices!) and staff were very friendly. We'll definitely return in the near future.

Had a fantastic 3 course meal (via a gift/experience we’d had bought for us) on the weekend. Lovely place, outside grounds well maintained and structured, staff were very friendly and efficient, the decor and setting inside was great and most importantly, the food was very good. No complaints whatsoever.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon with my daughter! We both have dietary requirements but the chef made sure we had a good range of food to eat and it was delicious. Great service as well. A big thank you.

Had the King prawn pil pil to start, outstanding! Followed by chicken wings with ribs and sweet potato fries, also outstanding. All the staff were polite and professional. Will definitely eat there again.

Love the food here, been many times, this time has put us off as when we were leaving one of the waitresses made a comment to another member of staff saying "did they leave a tip" we did leave a tip but we are not impressed hearing remarks like that as we are leaving

Very disappointing.. I have celiacs disease and the food was very tasty but the menu shows a wide selection of Gluten Free Options, this was not the case, many items are fried in the same fryer as gluten.. when I complained staff member replied “oh we hear that a lot” if that’s the case change the menu to represent what it is… food was tasty but my overall very disappointed and staff didn’t seem clued up.. would not recommend for people requiring a gluten free meal… and they should say that up front!
