Usual high quality offering. I had beef tartare and selection of shellfish. I have had moules mariniere in many restaurants around the world but I have to say the ones at Bacchus were the best! Excellent silver service but with a friendly twist always happy to share a laugh. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always flexible to accommodate any request. Not too noisy or crammed together so it was easy to have table conversation. We finished the meal with a generous cheese board and a port. A meal to remember!!

It was lovely to be back at Mere Court where we had our Wedding Breakfast 10 years ago. This time, we celebrated the Birthday of our Gran from Austria and enjoyed a delicious Afternoon Tea: The table was beautifully set, the staff was very friendly and helpful as always, the food was outstanding. Best fresh scones ever!! Our "Birthday Girl" got a specially prepared plate for the occasion as we mentioned it when booking the table. After tea we went for a walk on the grounds - such beautiful gardens, lovely for all generations! Highly recommended - we will be back sooner than later!

1st time at elmas, loved it. Food was extremely tasty and glad we booked and got in early as it was very busy by 7.30. It was lovely having the doors open on a summer evening but could see the smokers outside being an issue if we were sat closer, atmosphere was lovely and the waiter was great too.

Great food, tasty but steak was a little over cooked for medium rare for my taste, have been a few times over the years and never had a bad meal and service is always good. Will return once saved enough money to treat ourselves as expensive.

Had a lovely meal the food was very authentic what you would expect in Rome. Took 2 Italian friends and they loved it as well

Short notice booking for a Saturday evening. 3 x Adults. When making a drinks order there was a distinct lack of most things. No lager on tap, no Estrella no Brahma, I ended up with a bottle of Moretti, (not my favourite). My son asked for a Jamesons Orange, none in the house. Luckily my wife wanted a soft drink and was amazed when they had some. My son ordered the pinwheel steak. None available. The food, that arrived was good, but if we had known there was a shortage of our favoured drink, we would have gone elsewhere.

My daughter and I were celebrating and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or as attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after so well. Great food and lovely cocktails. Highly recommend.

I went to Salt bar yesterday evening with 3 friends. We all had different meals which were all delicious. The wine was also spot on and beautifully chilled. The service was great as well. Would highly recommend

Chosen for location but sorely lacking in atmosphere - very few tables occupied. Fish and chips was ok but needed a bigger plate and fish was a bit dry/overcooked. Sauvignon blanc by the glass was also pretty average. Hunters chicken looked good. Lots of car parking.

We had two meals with our stay at the hotel and both meals were superb The three courses were beautifully served and the best meals we have had At a hotel in a long time the service was great food very hot and delicious We had a great stay

Eat here regularly and both the service and food never fails to impress. There is a set menu that changes all the time, as well as A la Carte and they are always happy to make changes, even make something that may not even be on the menu if they have the ingredients. The service is excellent - always make you feel very welcome. For such a fantastic restaurant the prices are very reasonable. Cannot wait until our next visit.
