Great location Great service Great food
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyI had a very nice prawn pil-pil starter and chicken fajitas as my main, however I would've ordered the burritos if I had known I'd have to assemble them myself (I'm autistic and this was too overwhelming, but I managed).
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWe all had a really excellent night I would highly recommend it .
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWhat an enjoyable evening for so many reasons. Firstly, the welcome and attentiveness from all the staff was lovely. The place looks so gorgeous and the wine I picked out from a nice selection was delicious: a Chardonnay Sauvignon. We assembled a charcuterie board from the range of cheeses and meats on offer; no matter that some were not available as very fine suggestions of alternatives were made. It looked and tasted amazing. Really high quality. It was midweek, unusual for me to go out then, and Charcutia had many empty tables, possibly because of the hot weather and there being no outside seating. A shame for them it was so quiet as it is such a good addition to Holmes Chapel. However, this suited us as it was not noisy and we were able to chat. I’d definitely recommend.
Charcutia – Holmes ChapelMy wife and I had afternoon tea on May 27th this year. It was our third visit. The food, drink and service were as good as ever. Also, we had a Groupon deal so value for money is not in question. Sadly following a change of ownership of the property, the venue for afternoon tea is no longer the intimate panelled tearoom but a somewhat soulless (if spacious) function room. I think we'd come for lunch, maybe even stay but afternoon tea needs to feel more special than this.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordFood was delicious, staff were very friendly, service was great
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichProsecco afternoon tea for four. A good selection of fresh sandwiches and mini cake and scones. The dining room was quiet , staff attentive. We had gone to celebrate a friends birthday and a lovely touch of a platter with a birthday greeting with fruit and mini chocolates. Mere Court has never disappointed us
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordVisited yesterday with 2 friends for a late breakfast. We all had the avocado tartine and an iced latte. Food and drinks were delicious and great value. The breakfast special is only £9.95. Staff are so friendly and helpful it’s a pleasure to visit here.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichWe’ve always really enjoyed visiting this pub and have been many times over the years, which is why it’s disappointing to say that our last two visits haven’t lived up to the usual standard. The atmosphere and service are still lovely, but the food quality and portion sizes seem to have gone downhill. On our most recent visit, the fish pie was particularly disappointing — the dish itself was very shallow and there was hardly any filling in it. We completely understand prices and costs have changed for businesses, but sadly the meals no longer feel as generous or as good value as they once did. We do hope this was just a temporary dip, as it’s somewhere we’ve always genuinely enjoyed visiting.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyBank Holiday Monday, table of 4. Terrific food, great staff, exemplary service and a really nice atmosphere. We had a meal inside and then sat out with a drink and played cards. A lovely evening all round. Thank you.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamAlways good
Cafe De Paris – NantwichSuperb food and service
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldExcellent Sunday roast, couldn’t have been more accommodating for my little boy. Definitely recommend!
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent food and service Very friendly staff Excellent venue and atmosphere
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyThree of us came here on a warm Sunday afternoon and the place was busy which is always a good sign. The food was lovey and the service was great, will definitely come again.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWhat a lovely little French gem in Nantwich. Quaint, cosy style and authentic French recipes. The poached egg and avocado croast is my favourite. Coffee is excellent too and to top it off the prices are pretty reasonable.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichSunday Roast: 2 courses, £22.95. Available until it's all gone!
Saturday Bottomless Brunch: 2 courses plus free-flowing bubbles, Bloody Mary or Mimosa. Served from 12pm-3pm (2 hour booking). £44.95
