Excellent Sunday lunch.

Having only previously visited mid week found it really busy on Saturday evening. Food and service really good. The special bruschetta was lovely - pizza size, so great to share. Brought family for their 1st visit and they loved it.

Excellent food well cooked and excellent value for money. Will certainly visit again.

Booked a table for 6.30 pm for our Golden Wedding Anniversary but didn't get food until 8pm. Most of the meals were poorly cooked, especially the steak, which was well done not medium. Would not recommend your pub to anyone. Felt sorry for the waitress serving us.

The atmosphere is always very warming especially with a log fire on a cold day, our food was excellent but service was poor. The drinks order was wrong, we ordered 3 puddings only 2 arrives together and we had to ask for the bill 3 times and then it was the wrong bill ! Then when we came to pay the waitress did not k now how to work the card machine.

First timers. Staff were lovely and efficient. Food was lovely but felt the super sampler we had, some items could have been a bit hotter, apart from that it was really lovely.

Really enjoyable evening with some old friends in Prestbury. They look after you here but the service is friendly and unobtrusive. Food is very good and a strong wine list in support. A long evening (we were there from 7 to 11:30) came in at a little over £100 a head but when I consider the whole experience I’d much rather have had one Bacchus evening than two £50 bistro or pub meals. We will be back.

Went for breakfast, was not the best, which was a shame because we were really looking forward to going here. Also staff need to learn basic hygiene i.e, wash your hands after stroking dogs.

Three of us came for an early lunch yesterday. Usual warm welcome and great patience with Mum who struggles to walk with a zimmer frame. Food was hot and delicious as usual ...no faults at all. Thanks

The food was generally excellent but the dessert came with vegan ice cream. I hadn't had vegan ice cream before so thought I would try it but I won't do so again, it was a big disappointment. I think it would be better to be served with ice cream as standard and perhaps offer vegan ice cream as an option.
