Gorgeous meal, we had the Sunday roast the beef was absolutely perfect! Really great value. The staff as always were attentive and efficient. Thank so much.

An excellent little restaurant. The parking is poor but there is street parking from 6pm nearby. Service good and food brilliant. We went two nights in a row. Very reasonably priced as well.

Really good tasty food, excellent service and reasonably priced

We dined at Bacchus last night. I ordered the Terrine. When it arrived it looked very insipid but I felt obliged to try it. Terrines are normally encased in jelly. There was none. I cut into it and instead of pieces it was crumbly all the way through. It seemed to taste ok. However, when I arrived home I was violently sick and have been unwell all day. We have been to Bacchus many times but won't be returning.

Great food excellent service value for money

The staff are very poor not attentive probably due in large part to the manager who has no client facing skills himself and is flippant and not committed to the job. Our first choice meal was not available so we had the cheese pie which was nice. I will not be returning any time soon given our experience it is a problem pub and will remain so with the current staff in place.

We had a lovely meal last week at Bacchus, to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The service was excellent with great attention to detail- so rare these days- the food was also excellent as usual. We look forward to dining with you again soon.

It's nice to go to a proper English restaurant that offers excellent service with good quality food and wine. Well done. We have already booked for our next visit.

Dined here yesterday afternoon with friends the meals and service was top notch ..food was well presented and very tasty I had belly pork and my husband had the lasagne so did our friends ..definitely come here again ..

Lovely meal. Home made and propper yummy. We eat out a lot, this was a real good value good food.... We will be back.... defo on our weekly date night list

What a lovely country pub this is. Lovely warm setting with equally pleasant staff. The food is second to none the service is outstanding. Definitely going to make this place a regular haunt. Thank you.
